Hi Everyone,

Let's have some fun.

What would you like to have on a Celebrity Cruise that you have not had before?

Me - I would like to have only one formal night. I like to dress up but not two or three times a cruise.

:) :) :) :) :)

Actually I Love having two formal nights :)

But I would like to have a martini. Never had one before. I plan to attend the martini tasting next cruise on Zenith.

I would like to try those soft pretzels I've heard so much about.

Someone else mentioned an iced hot chocolate:confused: at the Cova that I plan to also try this cruise.

I have also never done the formal tea. I'd like to do that.

I'd like to cruise in one of those big Penthouse Suites with the personal outdoor hot tub. But I think I'd have to win the lottery first...which is difficult, since I don't even play :)

I'd like to try Cova Cafe. So far 3 trips and I have not made it there yet! I'm always too full!

I'd also love to have the penthouse suite. Love the idea of my own hot tub and even the eliptical on the back deck would be great!!! Can work off the danishes from the Cova!

I also love formal nights so I wouldn't change that. I can't think of anything else I haven't tried. (Yep, even had lots of martini's and the pretzels!)

OK here goes ----- Non Smokers----

Huh. On my recent cruise, I was surprised at the scarcity of smokers. Most of the people who DID smoke did so on the outer decks, and the smoke wasn't offensive at all.*

* Please note that the casino was the one exception to this, and I feel that most people EXPECT casinos to be smoke-filled places...

I would love to have GREAT movies in the theater, ones I hadn't yet seen but really wanted to see, and big buckets of popcorn (not the puny little bag I got on Millie last December).

I found out the theaters are great places to watch movies (folks are much better behaved than they are at my local cineplex).

I like formal nights:).

I think we all would like to stay in the Penthouse Suite - and that probably means all of us need to win the lottery.

I would love a non-smoking casino so I can give Celebrity more of my money. :D The non-smoking table or two just don't cut it for me as the whole place is smoky.

And along with the chocolates on the bed at night, I'd like the video tape of my favorite soap or TV show that I didn't see that day so I can watch it before bed at night.:)

I would love to not hear any complaining or whining. That would be wonderful.

Now at home I am known to be a bit of a complainer at least my husband says I am. He asked me once why I never complain on a cruise. I told him there's nothing to complain about.

I have someone come in my cabin and clean twice a day. I have someone serve me breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have entertainment or relaxation whichever I choose. I also have the MARTINI BAR.

More electrical outlets in the cabins; a variety of music in the lounges (without undue repetition); Less expensive access to the Thallasotherapy pool; astronomy lessons on deck at night with officers as teachers....I can dream, can't i??

I would love self laundry facilities. I would love the option of personal choice dining as well. I would love for them to have all the shows to be after dinner. The reason I choose late seating is to not have to worry about getting dressed in a hurry. If I have to get dressed to meet an early "for late dining" show, IMHO it defeats the entire purpose of having late seating.

Affordable Internet access. I nearly broke the bank last year during our transatlantic on Millie. Hubby said I could gamble all I wanted and shop all I wanted, but I had to stay out of the Internet Cafe. :-)

All I want from my upcoming (first) Celebrity cruise is for it to be as wonderful as the die hard X fans say it is...Am I asking too much???????????

Hi - where are you going on the Infiity? If you are doing Hawaii - you will love it. It is a great ship and Hawaii is well - unbelieveable

I think more/better options on the TV would be GREAT! Even with the shipboard channel that plays all the old shows, I don't see why it has to repeat the SAME EPISODES over and over ago. I swear, I saw the same old episode of "Remington Steele" at least five times. What's wrong? Can't they afford to license multiple episodes?! (please note that I don't intend to hang out in the room watching TV. I just like to turn it on when I'm getting ready in the morning, when I'm getting ready for dinner, before I go to bed, when I'm unpacking/packing, etc.).

I also really like the idea of laundry facilities or at LEAST a facility where we can iron a shirt without paying through the nose.

And I TOTALLY agree with having the shows for late seating AFTER dinner. I missed half the shows because I wasn't interested in going to a show at 7:00 before dinner.

I think this kind of thread is the best. It's constructive yet positive and could make a difference if the cruise line sees what their clientele really wants!

As a gourmand of fine Infinity martinis I would like to warn to skip the maritini tasting. One of the requirements of a great martini is that it is ICE COLD! We love (AND I MEAN LOVE) the martinis but we HATE the mini-martini's they give you for the tasting. Mainly because by the time they pour them, serve them and you drink them they are warm.

Grab the martini menu and order yourself just one. Make sure it is shaken right at your table and you will taste true nirvana.

And Marge, I can't believe you've never tried the Cova. They do great cappucinos and the chocolate croisants are to die for. We do a light breakfast, sans coffee, in the AquaSpa cafe (just lox, bagel, oatmeal or some such) and then head up to the Cova and finish up with chocolate croissants and coffee. The best on the ship.

What would I like on a Celebrity Cruise? I agree with less smokers, the same amount of formal nights, less kids under 18, less complainers and an unlimited amount of time to cruise.

I would like at them to ban smoking, allow my pets on board, a dog walking service, the penthouse suite with two rooms (one for me and the other for my dogs). I love the cruise but always miss my pets while I'm away...

I love having a thread to offer helpful suggestions (hopefully, somebody of influence is reading it).

- I would like to see SMALLER food portions. I find that by somewhere around the salad course, I am getting stuffed, and have a hard time finishing my entree. I skipped dessert more than half the dinners. If the courses were smaller (say only 2/3 the size they are now), dinner would be a more comfortable meal, and I would more easily be able to enjoy all that was offered. If people have bigger appetites, they can always order more than one of any (or all) of their courses. Of course, I COULD always just not finish each of my items, but I grew up with a "clean your plate" mentality, and I've never been able to convince myself that it's okay to waste food...

- I would like them to redesign the toilets so that you don't have to put down the lid in order to get to the flushing mechanism. It's simply a STUPID design (and not particularly sanitary...).

I would love dinner to be formal every night. My husband and I love getting dressed up. I also like classic dining at set mealtimes with the same waiter versus personal choice. However I would like more tables for 2 to be available.

I would love to receive a surprise upgrade to a suite! We will likely never be able to afford to cruise in one, so we would really enjoy it.
