Passports

Had our passport pics taken today, this week we will take the forms and pics to the P.O. and get them on their way! April 15 is so far away, but we are really excited. I'm hoping that the passports don't get bogged down with all the extra ones that will be needed after the first of the year.

We also took advantage of the Walmart photo package and had our pics taken with some tropical backgrounds, it was a blast!

Congrats on being "official". My sons are working on their second passports. (Children's expire every 5 years instead of 10 years for adults)

Im glad my kids have to get a new one every 5 years. They change so fast, its nice to get a new picture

We applied for 2 passports on July 26th and received it (without a rush charge) by August 27th :o

 

They say it may take 6 weeks but I never heard of it actually taking that long.

Ours took 6 weeks to the day...

Mine took 2 and most people report 4-6 at the most, but the op has plenty of time.

Relax, they are prepared for the influx, It should still only take 1-2 months tops..

But, it isn't nice to pay for a renewal fee...
