gsb Posted October 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2006 AOS--Nov 5th Colt @ Patriots-- This game is on NBC--Will the ship carry it in the cabins and/or the sports bar? Thx/GO COLTS:cool:
ssoceo Posted October 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2006 Not sure about on AOS. We were on Radiance and docked in Ft Lauderdale and couldn't get any of the Sunday football games and the sports bar was closed until after 5pm. The only games we found on TV on the ship and in our rooms were soccer.
Heckah Posted October 30, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2006 On Mariner last week, we had two Sunday afternoon games and the Monday Night game. I assumed they would've carried the Sunday night game, but they only have one sports channel and of course the World Series took that channel...I was in the casino at the time though and I'm not sure if they had the Sunday Nighter on another channel. PS - GO PATS! :D
cb at sea Posted October 30, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2006 Don't count on it being on the TV in your room--there's not much on those tv's! It may be in the sports bar.

However, they did broadcast the Sunday Night game, along with one 1:00 game and one 4:00 game onboard the Sovereign last month. So I think it really just depends on where you will be at the time of the games. Also, it was on in our room with no commercials :) Enjoy!
TEXASMUNK Posted October 30, 2006 #6 Share Posted October 30, 2006 proximity to which satellite they get their signal from. Once outside of satellites that serve the US, you get, primarily, international..ie, soccer, and other lower level sports (said this only to irritate soccer moms, lol). GMoney Posted October 31, 2006 #7 Share Posted October 31, 2006 They picked up a 1pm, 4pm and Sunday night game on Enchantment a few weeks ago.
Fisical1 Posted October 31, 2006 #8 Share Posted October 31, 2006 Last year we sailed during playoffs on Carnival and they had it set up on the TVs at the bar, on a big screen in one of the theaters and in the buffet room. It would seem to me that they would have some type of satellite to do this for all ships.
