Nude Showers Poolside and Other Horrible Stories Here!!

Recommended Posts

On our very first cruise, which was on Carnival's Fantasy, we encountered a strange sight in the hallway one night. A small group of young twenty-somethings were clustered around a girl who was talking very loudly and very animated (arms flailing around, etc.) She kept saying that she had lost her cat and needed help finding it. She then stepped away from the group and started asking passerbys, "Can you help me find my kitty?!" and then proceeded to describe her cat. She finally ended up crawling around on the floor, saying loudly, "Here kitty, kitty, kitty!" My husband just rolled his eyes and gave me a knowing look. Since our 8 year old son was with us, we used it as a teaching opportunity...."See son, this is what happens when you drink too much." He just looked at her and said (mind you he was 8 years old), "Yeah, what an idiot!":D

I don't think I can top any of these stories but I do have a couple. There was this european guy around 25-30 walking down the hallway to visit his friends clad only in a bath towel-when he sees my surprised look he looks back at me as though what is wrong with me? This was in the afternoon-he did not appear drunk just seemed to think this was normal behavior.

Then there was the girl late teens-early twenties who was like a size 16-18 in a thong swimsuit. I always think of her when I read posts here asking if it is proper to wear a thong swimsuit on a cruiseship. I always reply suggesting they look in the mirror and decide if it is a nice view or a nauseating view. I also tell those who are over weight worring about wearing a normal swimsuit that fits that if they had seen the thong girl they would not worry so much about how THEY LOOKED.

I am a strong believer in being modest if you no longer have the assets. Which brings me to another cruise. We had taken excursion in Martinique to the beach. there was a lady on our excursion, early fifities that was slim and looked GREAT in her bikini. She could actually make the twenty-somethings jealous. that is until she took her top off (the beach was topless allowed) Her boobs were MAJOR GOING SOUTH. I could not help but think how stupid of her-she was GORGEOUS until she removed her top-should have had sense enough to hide her flaws instead of flaunting them.

Okay I do have one more. I saw a slim white woman in a binkini sun bathing on a cruise last year. She was superdark-darker then a lot of African-American people. The thing was she looked like a PRUNE. I could not tell you her age- I am guessing it was somewhere between 55 and 75. Obviously she was a major sunworshiper. Seeing her and what she had done to her skin made me all the more want to be careful of how much sun I get.

While snorkeling in Xcaret Mexico, we were having a great time. The day was perfect, and the underwater sights were fantastic. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a big pair of ( think topless snorkler).

That was when I found out the hard way that you really can't breath very well if you turn your head too far and the snorkel goes underwater!! My DW thought I was drowning, and was getting upset with our son for laughing at me..... but he had seen the same 'underwater sights' I had and knew why I was choking... Her only comment later when we told her the whole story was 'serves ya right'.

On Golden Princess after Princess Cays and some sun and drinking we headed back to the ship and me and my then bf claimed our lounge chairs and went to get a quick slice at the pool pizza spot. Then I went back to move my chair one row up because we met up with a group of friends and wanted to sit with them. SO here I am pulling and pulling and pulling this chair that would not move like a savage and I just couldnt figure out why.....that is till I looked at the lady on the lounger to the left and her angry face. Her wooden leg was lodged between her lounger and the slats of mine. Well I realize it and my face turned completely red, I gently smiled at her and said Ill be right back. I went over to my friends only one row away and up a little and tried to explain why I didnt have my chair. My friends atleast went back and got my towel, shoes and bag cuz I was too mortified to go back after that.

LMAO! LMAO!! OH GOD HELP!! I CANT STAND IT!! THAT IS TOO DAMNED FUNNY!! THANKS I NEED TO LAFF TODAY!!!!

He then proceeded to remove his speedo and give it a good rinsing before putting it back on to the shock and horror of the entire pool.

I guess it's true what they say: those little speedos really do leave nothing to the imagination! :D

  • 1 year later...

Well, I have a new story to relay to everyone. On my last cruise, I was walking down the considerably long hallways of the Mariner and not once, but twice, did I encounter people in their doorways with stateroom doors wide open and some person in a semi-nude to "nekkid" state. After I pass the door, you can invariably here the naked person yelling at the other for having the door open.

Just a grin for the afternoon.

About a year and a half ago my fiance and I were on a cruise (on the Mariner). About 30 minutes after we boarded the ship, we noticed an older gentleman wearing khaki pants and a sweater. Mind you, it's mid-June in FLORIDA! The next day we were out by the pool and noticed the same guy wearing khacki pants and another sweater! We immediately started calling him "The Sweater Guy." We saw the same guy probably 5 or 6 times throughout the cruise and every single time he had on a different sweater and long pants!

Yeah,

There was this other couple on the Glory last year. The wife must have been a body builder as she was very lean and muscular, not well endowed at all, do to the body building. But she had a really manish face. And they were always dancing really well at the parties and clubs, ballroom style. I saw them everyday at the gym and the husband wore the little shorts that made him look "bigger" if you know what I mean. Similar to Ben Stillers shorts in Dodgeball! All of that made for a couple of laughs.

I think I had this same couple on our Carnival Pride cruise last year!!! The horor of it all!!!

with ther balconies that you walk in front of, as they are not out on the water. Well the folks in them must think they have one way glass as not one of them had the crapes drawn.

#1 couple getting it on and they had quite a crowd on the Promenade, when the hoops & hollering started then they took note & turned their lights off.

#2 woman fresh from the shower, dropping her towel to spead lotion all over. Let me tell you the guy had their privates at attention I was getting the laugh........

#3 was a guy changing clothes at the closet, sothe mirror was rear view with the front right there & no undies!

My DH & I are still laughing about ti & how braindead folks are. RCCL has the large windows overlooking the mall & parades. I have heard about what you see up there also...........

Maybe it was his "special sweater". Adam Sandler wrote a song about his sweatshirt, so why not a special sweater???

were moored on each side of the dock. We were standing on the deck admiring the Disney ship. Our eyes were roaming across the balconies when a man stepped up to the balcony door (he was on the inside). He must have just got out of the shower as he had a towel wrapped around him, at least for a minute he did. He pulled the towel off and started to dry himself.

DH and I looked at each other and started to howl.

I know one gets used to the privacy when having a balcony, but that's really only when you're at sea, not at the dock!!!!

Just let me start with we cruise with another couple each year. While on the Adventure in 03 the guys started a game (not that we liked it) of watching for good looking women.

While we were sunning on one of the top decks guy #1 says to guy #2 look 12 o'clock thong. That was their code for a good looking gal. To their suprise when the good looking gal turned out to be a good looking guy. We girls are still laughing at them for this.

By the way they no longer search for good looking anything.

I guess you had to be there.

Thanks

Maxie

Last year on a Princess cruise there was a 30ish man with his wife and 3 yr old daughter at the art auction. When a very rare piece done by an artist named "NAKIA" came up for bid the starting bid was set at $95,000:eek: (yes THOUSAND) the man bid on it and bought it. During an intermission in the auction he was talking with the thrilled auctioneer while his small daughter was running around in and out of the easils<sp? that were displaying many different works of art on a few occasions she almost knocked a few over he never semed to notice...the father was engrossed in conversation until she ran towards the piece he just bought with her hands extended as if whe was going to touch it....I have never seen a grown man move that fast, he swooped her up immediately, we all got a good chuckle out of it. The other funny thing about this was his wife who says to me"that is a nice painting I hope it goes with my decor" I'm thinking..for $95,000 you just add another wing to the mansion around this piece! Incidently, the next day he bought another piece by the same artist for $78,000!

On another note, 4 years ago on the Grand Princess, we went up to the Skywalker's Nightclub for a night of dancing. The disco was set up with multi-level coves. We grabbed our drinks and headed down the few steps to one of these coves, take a break from dancing, when we saw a couple with no shame going at, it in plain sight. I was horrified and embarrassed as if I walked into someone's bedroom, but they were actually the ones making the intrusion by choosing to do this in the Disco. With the layout of this room, I'm sure it wasn't the first or last time this occurred. Guess the balconies aren't as exciting for some people anymore!

ok, have to share this one while we are at it! On Rhapsody, saw a young, very well endowed girl (obviously implants as they stood straight out and were at least DD's!) walking towards us with a tiny triangle bikini top on that barely covered her nipples. She looked like a stripper. So, she goes past us and we look at her rear side and she is of course wearing a thong. So, here is the gross part... her buttocks were totally covered with huge blue bruises! She had obviously spent a little too much time on her back and wasn't shy about advertising it. Our tablemates later saw her on the dance floor dancing and making out with some other woman who looked to be about 60!!!

eeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!

Ok..Not nearly as funny as these...But just a reminder to watch those glass elevators...

This past month on Mariner.I was wearing one of those short, but not too short ruffledy skirts...As I got out I noticed a lady rushing towards me...(from around the corner if you are familiar with the Mariner ele's)..I mean she was focused on me as soon as I came around the corner..She said...I'm sorry, but your skirt is tucked under a bit and I am thinking...She was in front of me,not behind me..Then I realized...She saw me coming down the elevator....And here I was LEANING with my back against the glass elevator all the way from 14 to 6!!!It was not a complete show....But just a word of caution:rolleyes:

Another sighting on labels on clothes: On the Golden Princess in March there was a large family group and several of the men still had the tags sewn on the sleeves of the jackets.

And the overly tanned: a very pretty woman, in her 60's probably, with platinum blonde hair, bright blue eyes, but with skin so leathery and orange-brown that it was almost fluorescent. She also dressed in the most eye-catching way, often all in white, which was a stark contrast to her tan. Oh, and let's not forget the fluorescent orange or fuschia lipstick!

I have a personal story for you all that I am still laughing about a year later.

Last year my mother, my aunt, and myself were taking a Western Caribbean cruise on the Mariner. We had an aft balcony on Deck 10. My aunt and myself were having some fun in the casino. My mother decided that this would be the perfect opportunity to sunbathe on our deck. When I returned to the cabin my mother asked me if I was playing a joke on her. When I denied doing this she turned red in the face. The story soon followed. My mother told me that she had been sunbathing in the nude on our deck when she began hearing whistles. At first she thought it was me or my aunt playing a joke on her. After a few more whistles she decided to return to the cabin. You should have seen her face when I walked her onto the balcony and had her look up. She had a full mirrored view into the Windjammer. She had not realized that the shape of the windows in the Windjammer provided a mirrored view right onto our deck.

Needless to say....I will never let her live it down!!!:D

Why do I never see any of this? I miss everything!

From reading this thread I'm very glad that I've missed all of this. (YUCK!)

I think I have seen things during the Quest game that would be banned in most strip clubs and other X rated venues. The first Quest I attended was fun and surprising. The last couple I attended on the Sovereign made me think that I had viewed way too many naked body parts standing at attention. It's amazing what people will do for a keychain!

This thread has been fun. Thanks everyone.

this happen a few years ago, I think on the Rhapsody, it was during the quest game,so I really cant say much or I could be "killed" lol

they wanted a set of dentures not being worn, so of course I ran up to show my teeth for our team,

well all of a sudden a few others ran to my table grabbing for my teeth, I was not I say NOT going to let someone run off with brand new or other wise false teeth, so I was was lead up to the front with another team

I have a few.

We were on a cruise aboard CCL's Sensation(I think). My husband loved to take naps on the balcony and a couple times fell asleep out there. It was very private with full walls on the side and you couldn't see it from above. One night after taking a shower he fell asleep out there and only had a towel.Well when he woke up the towel had slipped off and we were docked in NO and he was in full view of a couple hundred people.

Last January we were in Labadee and this man was laying down on one of the beaches. He was wearing a speedo and was obviously "very excited".Several people were taking pictures for some reason.

I also had an elevator incident aboard the Radiance last year.A couple teenage boys ran in the elevator when it stopped and "passed gas" and ran out.Since I was the only one on the elevator when it stopped at the next floor the people who got in were giggling and staring at me.
