Bye to all who are sailing on the Star tomorrow :) - please please please look after the ship for us - may you have wind in your sails and calm seas!! Hurry up back so I can get on please.:D

I can see that this next week is just going to drag on and on and on.:p

I am right in the middle of assessing 300+ primary kids and all of their assessments need to be finished and marked and back to their class teacher by next Friday  (day before I sail) - sometimes I love my job (it pays for me to cruise! and sometimes (like now) I hate my job - paperwork yuk!!!)

Anyway enough of my rant - at least I'll relax on my holiday and then when I get back its just over 10 weeks till the next one!!!

Happy sailing to all

Rach

Interesting. The webcam seems to be stuck, at 05.08 GMT (15.08 AEST), and the Brisbane Ports website is showing a scheduled departure time of 6pm AEST.

This is the 'real time' one Rach, http://www.smd4.transport.qld.gov.au/smd4/ShippingInfo.jsp#Header

Times in italics are the estimated time of departure

That website is just the proposed schedule, the one I looked at is the actual shipping movements.

The Star is leaving at 6.00pm tonight, they are currently giving her a service. This is normally done at sea, but this time they have done it in port just in case more oil or parts etc are needed.

Yes... also they may be waiting for news on the weather (thunderstorms) even though the warning is cancelled. They can be pretty unpredictable!!

Yes, well that storm has hit right now here in Brisbane. Thunder, lightening, hail, heavy rain..... It's all happening.
