I really loved all the DOD specials:D

I tried them all...plus a few more

 

I would say that my first day , I did tend to drink quite a lot of those FUN SHIP SPECIALS!

 

some of the special DOD may include :

Funship Special

Blue Margarita

Goombay Smash

Ultimate Suntan

Island Delight

Riviera Delight

Yellow Bird

Carribean Breeze

 

in addition to those DOD specials , we also tried :

Mexican Mama

Mango Maniac

Zombie

Miami Vice

Mango Margarita

Tropical Peach Colada

Mexican Runner

Twilight Zone

Havana Delight

Black Orchid

Midnight Kiss

Chocolate Banana

Blow Job (after dinner drink in Dining room)

Chocolate Sin ( served Hot )

 

I Had boughten the Carnival Cocktails Handbooks for

all of our group cruisers,

plus we all had boughten the Drink Coupons...

Needless to say we were all prepared :D :p

Okay so technically this isn't a DOD for Carnival, in fact I doubt they even serve it at all since I got recipe locally but I have to share with any potential rum lovers out there. Especially since you can get most of the native ingredients on their home turf during this cruise.

 

Warning: not for the faint of heart.....or liver

 

1 shot of each rum

Mount Gay -Barabados

Bacardi White

Captain Morgan

Myers Dark

 

OJ

Pineapple

Dash of cranberry juice

 

Mix the first 3 rums with oj & pineapple 50/50 mixture ( I use more pineapple like 2:1 )

Pour over full glass of ice

Pour about a shot of cranberry in, let it float in

Pour the last shot as a Myers floater on the top

I garnish with orange & lime slices

 

Use a straw so you're not hit too hard with the floater. If you like rum I guarantee that you'll like this one! It is kind of a lot to put together but it's worth every drop.

 

 

You're supposed to use Malibu coconut instead of Bacardi white....

I just noticed my mistake. Barcadi would make this lethal, the Malibu adds just the right amount of sweetness.

try a superman... its a miami vice, but with a blue curacao daquiri mixed in also.... red white and blue... its like a rainbow italian ice, but w/ pina colada instead of lemon and strawberry instead of cherry....

 

hmmmmmm..... a rainbow italian ice daquirri...

now that would be good!

That sounds really good to me. I will have to have on next month. I like the Funship and Kiss on the Lips.

Okay I have wrote this down. But it will surely kick you in the butt after the second one. Just from one rum lover to another

I hope you got my correction. Substitute Malibu coconut for the Barcadri light or it won't tast right. Rum lover that I am, even I have to draw the line somewhere ...lol...ok so the line's a little crooked.

Grenadine

Splash of peach schnapps

 

Got that straight from the bartender on the Triumph!

 

We could not find the Mango Daiquiri mix, soooo..............

We bought mango juice in a carton, poured it into trays and froze it.

 

Put a few of those,

Ample amount of Mango Rum (Cruzan)

Fair amount of Peach Schnapps

 

Blend in blender and yummmm yummmmm.

 

Frozen and all.

under the gifts tab at the top

so are the drink coupons ar $21.25 for 4 drink coupons and includes your tip for any drink $5.25 and under

 

If you dont use the coupons that you buy ... you can use them the next time on the ship , it is a great option

I did not know I could get a BJ on board. PLEASE, no comments.. I love the drink but don't have the nerve to ask for it. Why can't they give it a PG name?

 

The lady that was our dining room beverage person was bringing them around after dinner , had a tray full of after dinner drinks ...

My sister had a heck of a time with it ... And I was lucky enough to get it on VIDEO :D ;)
