we booked almost 3 years ago for the QM2 . The ship hadn't even been built and our TA called with a great offer on the NEW ship. We couldn't resist and put the down payment in with the final payment due way down the road, We leave on July 1st

We booked in mid June 2002(the day bookings opened) for late October 2003 transatlantic. We were ready to book as soon as they opened - our TA was given our instructions as to cabin on the different Celebrity ships and the itinerary we wanted and if bookings were opened, she had our instructions to book immediately. We gave her the instructions right after our 2001 transatlantic.

We booked last month for January 06 on Jewel of the Seas. We love looking forward to trips (land or sea) so tend to book early. Also, we often use frequent flyer points for air travel and have learned the importance of booking well in advance.
169 days to Brilliance of the Seas

We just booked this last week for Dec 05 on Legend of the Seas. I am looking forward to it - will help get me through the cold Canadian winter!!! Also makes it easier on the pocket book - lots of time to plan!!

We booked two weeks ago for the March 5, 2006 sailing of Infinity from Buenos Aires to Valparaiso. While new to cruising, we would normally book at least one year ahead for planning, combining the trip with a timeshare stay at one end or the other and for the pure fun of educating ourselves about new places and the people who live there.
