cherylandtk Posted September 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2008 Per the following announcement on their website, porttime will be shutting in a few days: I regret to inform you that this site will be shutting down in a few days. I have some other opportunities to work on and unfortunately this site never generated the ad revenue I expected. I appreciate all the kind comments I have received, but I can't dedicate the time required to keep the site current. Thanks for using porttime.com. Rats! It was such a useful website, too. Guest arowe6 Posted September 3, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 3, 2008 I loved that site. What a shame. Didn't know about the cruise clues site though. That's good to know

cherylandtk Posted September 3, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted September 3, 2008 Yeah, the porttime was so easy to use and let you look at the whole picture for your ship and dates....the cruiseclues links are not as easy to use. But we will manage.

Sandytoes Posted September 4, 2008 #8 Share Posted September 4, 2008 Wow! This is very sad news. Sorry they have to shut it down. There's no other like it. I hope in the near future they will be able to start up another cruise site just like it.

vmom Posted September 11, 2008 #14 Share Posted September 11, 2008 I went on one of the links on the site above and the link was no good. I tried the second link for info and found and clicked on St. Marten to test it out. I found it to be incomplete. It did not list many of the ships that I know are scheduled to stop in St. Marten. Point in fact. We are sailing the Crown Princess the second week of November with a scheduled stop in St. Marten and the Crown Princess was not on the calender.
