  1. I have lots of issues with P&Os standard disembarkation procedure, but in addition to my preference for having luggage arranged in time slots, I think P&Os lack of announcements over the ships intercom is another very weak point. This allows no flexibility at all if things are going well, or indeed if there are delays, as a result many times I have seen no queues at all at the gangway, whilst the meeting venues are still full. Which is why as a wheelchair pusher I always opt to self disembark rather than wait in the Limelight club for a porter.
  2. I thought the endless feature on the forward pool had been disabled for years?
  3. Really not too bothered about having dedicated disabled lifts, what I want is intelligent lift users who know to move away from the rear lift wall, rather than everyone heading for a wall as we get in, resulting in no way the wheelchair and I can fit in the lift.
  4. No benefit at all unless you can choose your cabin, which most select passenger do.
  5. I understand the cruise cover is now £27 per each cruise, and you only need to add it to the policy when the next cruise is due. Still a very good deal since, if a couple, you would redeem your payment if you only had 1 claim a year for 10 cruises, which in a year is highly unlikely, whereas one missed port in say 3 cruises a year, is very likely in todays safety conscious times. One rider, not sure if it is £27pp, or as now it covers both parties, as my informant is a single lady.
  6. I assume you live in the US, have you tried any UK travel insurance companies, are they able to sell you a similar 1 trip policy that they sell to UK citizens?
  7. Since all the higher loyalty members seem to be getting earlier boarding times than the website states, its very unlikely anyone is going to complain.
  8. I think that data is very old, probably well before covid, and long before the new boarding system was introduced.
  9. MB if you check her stats theres not a great deal of difference between her and Ventura, she is quite a bit a longer than Ventura but a tad narrower, and her passenger and crew numbers are very similar. In fact she will carry far more passengers than the other 3 Queens.

  12. Since the booking clerk was only basing her decisions on the P&O system errors, I find that answer absolutely ridiculous and would be demanding a high level apology and a massive amount of compensation.
  13. We are only Baltic but had a 12:30 boarding time on our March Iona cruise.
  14. Nope, rather angular and looks a bit like a container freighter.
