The Fleet Report and Daily for Thursday May 2nd, 2024
middlehaitch replied to StLouisCruisers's topic in Holland America Line
Beautiful pearls and crystals, radiant and dazzling. Boutique Deeply loved by people all over the world @Haljo1935 this (above) is the translation given by Google Chrome. I right clicked on the image to get 'search image' then when the image came up I had Chrome translate it. Cheers, h. Photographer in NYC of cruise ships?
middlehaitch replied to Fogfog's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
@Fogfog, I think you may be thinking also of this website (below) that tracks cruise ships from a number of ports. People screenshot images and post them to this board often. Port New York Webcam - Live Streaming Web Cam at the Chart House Restaurant (portnywebcam.com) Cheers, h -
CSHS1979 is still posting. She is the Lala of the duo, John can no longer post. They are both on the Royal Caribbean World Cruise, she posting occasionally, with pics. Cheers, h

@NWT Cruiser this "Entry restrictions at land and river borders with Peru and Colombia" is the header for the quote you posted. You are arriving via cruise ship so the restriction/need for Apostilled documents doesn't apply. Read through your link again and you will see all you need is your passport, and to make sure you have it stamped when you enter the country. Cheers, h. PS I am no expert so re read the link you posted carefully.

Selbourne ‘Live’ from Aurora’s 2024 Grand Tour
middlehaitch replied to Selbourne's topic in P&O Cruises ( UK )
@Selbourne and Lady Selbourne, I am not sure if this will reach you in time for your journey along the Mississippi. It is a link to a post I saved in a roll call so long ago it was hard to find. I am following along and enjoying your writings, life on a P&O ship, and the menus with a British bias I would love to experience. Cheers, h -
Sky departure cancelled. Now scheduled for 01:00. Weather really broke down about 10min ago. Cheers, h

They were supposed to have a late departure of 21:20 but I just heard a Port Everglades tower radio discussion with the pilot or tug that it could be 23:00. All depends on the storm. cheers, h.

A question about duty free and connecting flights...
middlehaitch replied to talljules1's topic in Cruise Air
You may find this link useful https://airbag.aviation-civile.gouv.fr/AirBag/Recherche/bBAAANYKTA9wZVpnZ1pwdkRmHwA I had a slightly different situation. Going through a plane change in Schiphol with duty free from LHR. My bottle of whisky was taken by security as it was over the 100ml allowed in the cabin. My hold luggage was processed through so no chance to move the whisky to my hold suitcase. Personally, I wouldn't buy duty free alcohol Manchester hoping to get it through a second security. cheers, h. -
Got a text off my sister at about 6pm Thursday 07/12 saying that the itinerary had changed because of heavy wind and rain in the Channel and Bay of Biscay so they would be staying in Portsmouth. No updates from her today, and none expected. If I hear anything of interest I will pass the info along. Cheers, h.

Can't do a B2B from Vancouver on the same ship
middlehaitch replied to suzyed's topic in Princess Cruises
Yes, it is correct. One can't embark at one USA port and disembark at a different USA port without visiting a distant foreign port, Vancouver isn't distant. This is part of the USA PVSA. Because you are on a continuous journey on the same ship it isn't viewed as a b2b by the PVSA but as a single voyage. cheers, h https://help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-23?language=en_US -
Did you buy individual photos or a package? If you bought the package you may have 'cloud' access still. It is only for 30 days post cruise so you only have a couple of days left to try and retrieve them. Try reaching out to the roll call that is sailing now. Also try the lost and found department, no idea how that works. Cheers, h.
