  1. Agree. There are many hotels to choose from, all sorts of qualities. However, there aren't many "near...the cruise port". You want to be in Waikiki. Do a search around this board, there are many threads on the topic.
  2. April of 2025 might be a little far out.... Coco Cay is a "private island" correct? How many ships could be there? You can always Google search Port schedules. I find that the most accurate.
  3. Welcome to Cruise Critic! Have you looked on TripAdvisor?
  4. @princeton123211, the OP is sailing to Sydney. Hawaii is a stop along the way.
  5. Tons more info if you look around on the Alaska board, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/33-alaska/
  6. What day of the week? Weekends maybe (LAX). Weekdays, wouldn't try LAX.
  7. Have you asked on the NCL board?
  8. There might be the odd place that requires ID. Assuming you are American, I would assume they want to see your passport. Some countries require this for checking into hotels, for example. But,overall, it's rare.
  9. Train. It's call the RER.
  10. Each of those ports, except Nicaragua, have their own ports boards with tons of info on possible activities. Fuerte Amador is covered on this board. Of those, I would snorkel at Aruba.
  11. What a confusing thread! "Can I make a 10am tour", with no indication of what time the Panorama (a Carnival ship) docks. Then there is reference to "another HAL ship" docking and possibly delaying Panorama? Usually cruise ships are scheduled to dock at times that don't interfere with other ships docking.
  12. No Customs in all those situations. Immigration, yes. Customs, no. We sailed Boston to Montreal last September. We turned in a Canadian Customs form before our first Canadian port on day 5 of a 11 day cruise. When we got to Montreal, we simply got off the ship. No Immigration procedures at all. That is why I said there might be any Immigration or Customs procedures at all.
  13. It looks to me that the fish in the boxes to the immediate rear of the truck are sitting in ice. The one box further away doesn't appear to be iced, but could still be frozen.
