Labadee WaveRunner Question Please

Hi.

We are doing an Indy NYE cruise that will be stopping in Labadee.

My ds is 17 and has a NYS Drivers License. Will he be allowed to drive the

waverunner himself and go on without a parent? If so, I plan on getting this as

one of his Christmas presents.

It says minimum age is 16 but it doesn't say if that means with riding with an adult 18 or over.

Our DD with her license has driven a jet ski,by herself since she was 16 on Labadee.

They do check the drivers license, make sure you take it.

We did not, the first time.

DH had to run back to the suite (17th deck on Allure) get in safe, run back all in 30 min. to hold our spot. He did it.

Next year she is 21, and we will still take it even though her sea pass will be one of an adult.

With ID he will be able to ride his own waverunner...this is a follow the leader excursion so he won't be on his own...enjoy !!

Yes, he can be a driver on his own jetski with no passenger. Our then 16 yr old was allowed to with no issues. Just make sure he brings his drivers license with him when you go to do the excursion. They were checking licenses of anyone who looked young when we did that excursion.

to bring it with us since we all have Passports.

I want to book three waverunners for my kids, who all have drivers licenses.

22, 21 and 17. Do they usually sell out before getting on the ship to book, especially during a busy time. I have OBC that could cover the three charges but if they usually sell out, I won't wait to board.

When you board I would immediately go to customer service where the excursion desk is and book.

Do they allow 10 year olds as passengers or is it 16 and up in general?

You can have under-16 as passengers....you simply can't drive one unless you have a DL.

Thank you! Ill have all the "kids" with me as soon as we board so we can go directly to customer service and they can decide on the time they want from what is available.
