What to do between 8am and 3pm - off ship to flight

Hi all

We've sailed out f Miami many times and normally stay overnight after disembarking. Can't do it this time so we need to keep ourselves busy from getting off with luggage (2 hold and 2 cabin bags) to needing to check in the airport at 3pm.

We've discounted the ships tour as it only does a bus tour and adventure mall and we've done it before.

What do you suggest?

I'd suggest a car rental to visit So. Beach. But we do drive on the"wrong side" of the road and that could be a big distraction. Another suggestion .... check out some hotels for day rates.

or take a taxi to South Beach I saw some place in this forum someone mentioned a place that will store your bags for a fee of course

Thanks, we drive often on the right side so this doesn't worry us. Like the day rate idea too, will check it out.

Car hire, storing your luggage in the boot, then spend the day at Coral Gables - Venetian Pool. If you've never been it will be like living a bit of local history.

I would store my bags with one of the luggage storage places, hop in an Uber to South Beach, and have a long boozy brunch and people watch.

What Blue suggests - Uber to SB, store your bags at the Luggage Lounge in Miami Beach, then head out to the beach, people watching and a long lunch. Collect your bags and Uber to the airport.

Our flight leaves at 5:30. We'll be among the last off the ship, get to the airport - and wait. Make snide remarks about people, browse a book store, find something to eat, etc.

What about Bayside Marketplace? I've never been, but hear it mentioned on the boards and they also have luggage storage
