Alaska August 13... First Timers...

just looking for opinions... my parents have finally agreed to their first cruise. they will be going late august 2013. im pretty sure they have settled on the celebrity solstice. would you recommend this ship for a nice alaskan cruise for 1st timers? it will be a 7night. they are wanting to stay in a sunset verandah room (concierge) on one of the corner aft areas, would this be a good choice? they are upper 50's in age and i want them to have a wonderful experience!

In Alaska, the ship is secondary. You go to Alaska to SEE Alaska! Their cabin will be fine.

As mentioned Alaska is about the itinerary.

This is a nice itinerary. Probably the only thing it is missing is Glacier Bay.

YEs, the sunset verandah would be a very nice choice as is the cruise line and ship.
