If she's adventurous and likes the water & sea life.....do the Stingrays! If you think it's going to freak her out, then skip it. Most kids love it, but there are some that will be uncomfortable.

The Jolly Rodger Pirate Ship excursion is also an excellent choice for kids!!

We've done stringray city and snorkeling with Moby Dick Tours several times now; they are very safety-conscious, educational and fun!! It will be a great time for your family - and if, by chance, the snorkeling at the reef is too overwhelming/scary for her, it's ok to stay on the boat and watch....still a wonderful outing.

I think of the rays a bit like the Florida manatees; one day, it is likely they will not be there in the wild. This is an opportunity she could always remember!

We're taking our 6 year old on a Stingray City excursion with 2 other stops included in a couple of weeks. I wanted to take her when she was 2, but we did the Turtle Farm instead (full access, booked through the farm). I'd recommend either of those excursions for kids.

Our daughter has had a lot of experiences with water excursions, loves swimming, and is quite comfortable jumping out into the water. We do have our own life vest we bring, especially for ocean excursions. It's softer and in better shape than what they gives you most times on excursions. :) We used to bring a "puddle jumper", but she recently outgrew that, so we invested in the same kind they use at the pool on DCL and Royal.

We have a "water baby" that has been cruising and snorkeling since she was 3 years old. She has been to the stingray sandbar twice and absolutely loves it! The first time she went, she was 3 years old! HERE you will find pictures of our day there. The next time we went, she was 5 years old and was still equally amazed! Look in my signature line for a full review (labeled stingrays/Rum Point) and there's TONS of pictures there. :)

If none of the above will interest her....head to the beach! Kids love beaches! Totally doable on your own, no excursion needed! The bus is $2.50 pp...and stops all along 7 Mile beach...same with the return trip. No charges unless you want loungers/umbrella....food/drink and restrooms are all along the beach. Even some watersport rentals.
