Rare Scrapnana Posted May 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2017 Five ships in Juneau on Tuesday but only one dam ship. Oosterdam is scheduled for the CT dock which means we will only see her arriving (1300) and leaving (2100). Also in port are Norwegian Jewel (0700-1330) at the AJ dock, Radiance of the Seas (0700-2000) at the AS dock, Star Princess (0800-2115) at the FKL dock, and Norwegian Pearl (1400-2200) at the AJ dock. Weather forecast looks fairly good. Only a 10% chance of rain with morning cloudy skies followed by partial clearing (the sun may make an appearance:)). High predicted to be 62F/17C and a low of 44F/7C. Sunrise is 4:14 am and sunset is 9:32 pm. The PTZtv webcam can be found at http://www.juneauharborwebcam.com/ . Sequim88 Posted May 23, 2017 #7 Share Posted May 23, 2017 As we get closer (three weeks now) it has become more important/exciting to see Oosterdam. Whether from the shore of Puget Sound on Sunday afternoon or via the Juneau camera. Work demand willing I'll keep a an extra monitor on the Harbor cam today. This Sunday the weather it looking to be pretty spectacular (as was last Sunday) so we might do a picnic at the point. Or come to think about it maybe ferry over to Kingston and picnic at Point No Point. I think that could be really close when "O" goes by into Admiralty Inlet. Quite a bit of marine layer in Juneau this morning. Hope it burns off later. Roy It is illusion, you won't see her again until she comes from behind Norwegian. That is all the Norwegian ship showing.
