wales4ever Posted February 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 29, 2012 Do they all have the same beds? Same fixtures and fittings in the cabins? Same drinks and alternative dining prices? Same menus?
Trainman-2 Posted February 29, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 29, 2012 RCI is pretty much standard across the fleet with most of the little things being the same. In the newer and larger ships there are more places to go and things to do.
bus man Posted February 29, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 29, 2012 The beds are not the same even within the same ship. In balcony rooms, the bottom corners are rounded, so you can walk past them to the balcony without banging your shins. In oceanview and interior rooms, they are rectangular. If you're tall (over 6 foot), you will notice the difference. At least, that's how it was on the Radiance. Maybe other ships do it differently. cruiseguy1016 Posted February 29, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 29, 2012 Alternative dining PRICES are all the same but the venues vary greatly from ship to ship.
matj2000 Posted February 29, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 29, 2012 Almost everything that I have seen from ship to ship is the same. Obviously the larger ships will have more features. As far as the prices, menu, drinks, shows, decor, ect, basically a carbon copy with small differences.
isdoo Posted February 29, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 29, 2012 Same items, but may have different uses For example on the older ships the zip wire is used to dry the bedsheets - every night you will see a young lass slide down and collect them all. If you check out youtube you should see a clip of this.
ChipLondon Posted February 29, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 29, 2012 I have never understood why experienced cruisers have to ruin some of the surprises that we all discovered on our early cruises. Would you please try to not spoil other things ( for example Dolphin training on the Port side of the ship, and the hot tubs that are used at night to make the soup ) :D Same items, but may have different uses For example on the older ships the zip wire is used to dry the bedsheets - every night you will see a young lass slide down and collect them all. If you check out youtube you should see a clip of this.
