10:10AM flight out of SEA

We are booked on the Carnival Legend this coming May to Alaska. The ship is scheduled to dock at 7AM. Our flight was originally scheduled to leave SEA at 10:55. We just received notice that the flight has been changed to a 10:10 departure. Thoughts?

Might just make it if you're the VERY first off and doing self assist debark.

Just because the ship is scheduled to dock at 7 doesn't mean that you can get off the ship at 7.

SEA is 30 minutes away from the pier.

Should be able to change your flight for no charge because they changed the schedule.

I wouldn't have booked a 10:55 in the first place, 10:10 is way to early. See if you can get a later flight.

That sounds dicey. If disembarkation starts late or you encounter traffic, even being in the first group off the ship (which you can't count on getting), you risk missing the flight.

I would definitely demand a new flight.

Our last cruise out of Seattle there was a 45 minute wait for taxis plus the 30+ minute ride through rush hour traffic to the airport -- book something after noon. Do you want to spend your cruise worried about making your flight home? :confused:

Seattle traffic can be clogged, and security lines at SEATAC can be long. I would definitely have that 10:10 AM flight switched to one departing after noon.

You would have a better chance on a weekend day. Since it's Carnival, it will be during the week, so you will be dealing with workday traffic.

Agree with the others, too early. SEATAC has some of the longest security lines of any airport we've ever been through.

Please change our flight so you won't spend the entire cruise worrying about this.

Don't consider it.

Call the airline and ask to be moved to a later flight.

If the ship is delayed, you will never make it. Have the airline move you to a later flight.
