We have cruised about 25 times on just Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. Entertainment, esp) shows are very important to us. We have seen many great ones on both of those companies. We were thinking of trying the Royal Princess, but the theatre is quite small. Does that mean they don't have as many Headliners and shows there? They seemed to emphasize just relaxing on that ship, which I like ,but I want some fun activities ,also.

Tks in advance for any information.

You'll have a choice of several different entertainments at a time throughout the ship. There could be a comedian, trivia, game show, piano lounge entertainment, entertainment in the Piazza, and/or a show. Not to mention MUTS or the free on-demand movies in your cabin. Sometimes at the same time. There's no lack of entertainment. Often, a choice has to be made.

There will be production shows in the theater probably at least two different ones on a one week cruise, maybe three on a 10 day cruise. There will also be guest entertainers and they can be anything from singers, musicians, magic, comedy. These are in the theater as well as in the Vista Lounge. Some nights there will be entertainment in both venues on the same night. Princess no longer has the once Big Name "Headliners".
