Drinks in a pineapple????

I know this is trivial, but there is something about drinking a margarita out of a pineapple that just makes it all the more tropical! That's my dream, my bucket list item.......is there something like this on board? Any particular place to get this?

Do you mean a pina colada? A margarita in a pineapple sounds weird to me.

We had a pina colada in a pineapple on Royal Caribbean last year. There, they let you pick any frozen drink to put in a pineapple. My husband and I aren't big drinkers so we decided to split one, and he picked pina colada....his favorite drink, where I can tolerate them but prefer daquari or margarita. Just hoping there's something like that with Carnival.

Carnival does not have this option. ( at least at present )

You will be able to buy sovereign cups ( disco ball, blow fish, ship funnel, coconut head) but no actual pineapple to drink out of.

Pina Colada in a pineapple (or coconut) sounds good, since it's pineapple and coconut based and sweet tasting. Since a margarita is sour, I just can't picture it in a pineapple. To each their own.

It would go better in a huge lime. Unfortunately, nothing like this is served.

I got a drink in a pineapple on the Liberty in April 2016. Can't remember what it was, but it was probably a pina colada. I have photographic evidence but I'm having trouble uploading from my phone.

What ports are you going to? You might have better luck on one of the islands. Usually you can find some kiosk - pop-up type bars that will offer something like this.

My first cruise was on the Triumph a few years ago-- and we had a drink in a pineapple. In fact, we had several of them. I don't know what exactly was in the drink--- but it was from the bar on the back side of the ship near the pool.

Not sure what ports you are going to but I got a GREAT pineapple margarita in mexico. I THINK I made it virgin though lol

My wife got a drink in a pineapple on the Miracle in April of 2016. I don't remember what it was, but it was whatever the drink of the day was. I think I saw them serving them again last month but don't recall what the drink was. She wasn't drinking then so we didn't buy one.

They were serving pina coladas in fresh pineapples on the Conquest Blue Iguana Tequila bar a few weeks ago. I'm sure they would let you have a margarita in one. I didn't get one because they were not covered by Cheers!

Yes - I got a drink in a fresh pineapple one day on the Dream. They were only doing them at the bar outside by the pool and only that day - it was the drink of the day - and really good - but I can't remember what the drink was.

Good to know! We are doing Conquest......I didn't get Cheers, only the Bubbles program since we really don't drink that often. One margarita in a pineapple would be enough for me for the entire week!

Hi. Just got one last week on the Conquest. My photo is not the right size according to my upload attempt. It was a whole pineapple cut in half and full of creamy pina colada type drink.

If you can't find one on the ship, you can always make one at home. Drink it while organizing your photos or something :D

They indeed do sell drinks in a pineapple but I can't recall what it was. It was good though.
