How is this airfare

My Father and I booked a last minute cruise for November and purchased our tickets last week on Lufthansa from San Francisco-Athens and Rome San Francisco for $1300 per person. We got an excellent schedule.

Leave SFO at 2:40 PM arrive Athens the next day at 5:00 PM. Leave Rome at 12:05 PM arrive SFO at 7:00 PM the same day.

Seems pretty good to me. If the schedule is good, that is a big factor in your satisfaction . Enjoy your cruise.

Did a similar routing and schedule a few months ago. Sounds very good.

The price sounds good to me. But are you sure it's 5pm when you arrive in Athens?

Another post hoc request for confirmation. At least there wasn't a question of whether there's enough time for the connection in Germany. :D

And Daisyloo....LH from FRA to ATH leaves at 1:20p and arrives at 5:05p. So either the LH or UA non-stop from SFO gives at least 2:35 at FRA. Wonder which one the OP has....the LH metal is a 380 vs the UA 747.

All flights are on LH metal. I could not pass up the A380 plus the service on LH is better than on Untied. I can't stand the outsourcing United has done to India. At least when I call to Lufthansa I get a nice person from South Africa who is v very patient and helpful.

Price looks good to me!
