Whole milk on NCL Getaway?

Hi all,

My son, 2.5 years, still drinks whole milk (3.25% - we call it "homo" in Canada).

He drinks it 3 times a day (morning, afternoon, bedtime).

Do you know if they have this type of milk available on NCL Getaway?

Also, anyone know if they have drinkable yogurt (like Iogo Nano) onboard?

Thank you!

Sorry I don't know, but thought I'd mention that when we weren't able to find whole milk on cruises when my girls were still drinking it, our pediatrician suggested two things: a) they're perfectly fine drinking reduced fat milk for a week or two and b) if they noticed the difference and wouldn't drink reduced fat, just add a little cream/half & half. (They didn't notice the difference).

Best,

Mia

95% sure that Breakaway had whole milk last February.

I do not recall seeing any drinkable yogurts.

Thank you for your replies! I'm perfectly fine with him drinking 2%, as long as he drinks it! He's pretty picky about his food/drink, so that will be the challenge. Maybe we'll just load him up with ice cream or shakes ;)

I guess we'll just deal with it as I can't imagine taking a week's worth of packaged milk in our suitcases.

You will certainly find it in the morning, but it probably isn't easily available at lunch. You could get it in the dining room at dinner but not at the buffet. When our dd was drinking it all of the time we got it at breakfast and brought back a few cartons to the room fridge. Otherwise it can be harder to find later on.

Yes..whole milk is there...pick up a couple pints for later, if you want. 2% won't hurt your child for a week...I swear! The protein is the same...just the fat content is different. It's all good.
