**May 28 Escape - Haven Photo Review- As live as wifi allows!!! ***

We are sailing on Escape this week (May 28) in a Haven 2 Bedroom Suite. I won't be posting a room number as trip is paid for and don't want to swim home if things go bad... Kidding.. I will say that we are on the dreaded 18 floor and will have first hand review of deck chair noise... Guess I should have checked CC before I picked the room..

We have been on RCCL Oasis, Freedom, independence and Carnival Dream

Had a bad suite experience on RCCL last time so we are trying out the Haven.

Thanks so much to the CC members and Gambee and all his photos. His review pretty much covered it all. I will fill in a few Haven updates and post photos as long as the wifi is good!

They are replacing the wifi by July so if you are on Escape after that you hit the Internet jackpot.

I will say this as Oasis class is amazing . This was the carnival Dream parked next to it. We can't wait to try the Escape and see how she compares...

Yes! So glad for another review to follow. Was sad for Gambee's to end and need another fix until October.

Just got off the May 14th dailing in 2 bedroom deck 18 Haven. I only heard the deck chairs twice. Once early morning and once mid day. Wasnt too bad for us so hopefully wont be for you. We were 18104 and loved the location and proximity to Haven ammenities. If Michael is your room steward he is FABULOUS!!! He makes awesome towel animals too haha! ENJOY!!

In a very small check in room.

Got here at 9:45. Bags off and parked in under 15 min. Checked in at 10 am into small wait area. Moved to a little larger area about 10:15. Waiting to board with horrible cell service.

I think they are preparing me for how bad the ship is...

Let's hope not....

Ok. I promise not to make it non stop food but this is lunch in Haven. It was very good. Believe what they say about maybe skipping a few specialty places....

We boarded at 11:30 and went right to the Haven lounge and in 5 min were released to our room.

By far the easiest and quickest embarkation in our 10 or so cruises. Great start to say the least...

Some Spa pics.. We added the Mandara spa for $199. It's $209 if you don't prepay..

For the Haven peeps there is a Sauna at the back of the pool in the Haven... We did not know that.

The snow room was broke a few weeks back but it is plenty cold now and yes it snowed about 6" overnight... Skis will not fit btw...

That's a panel for the roof in the Haven. It's for a part of the roof that doesn't retract so the operation of the roof was normal while that panel was cracked.

Easy fix.

Following, thanks! Would strongly recommend dropping image size when you get on ship wi-fi, large files will be especially killer with the latency of a sat connection!

Haven "mustards" as my kids say in the theater...

Very organized and brief 15 min and we were out of there.. Not nearly as hectic as Oshehans or the Atrium.. Everyone was seated .. "A" mustard group is the one to get..

Some views from a walkabout... The children's pool is pretty big. Better than the main pool in my opinion. But alas there is not much seating for parents..

The Big screen is pretty nice in H2O. And the grotto is pretty cool but not sure how it will work with the actual pool area far away. But if guests start running though there on the Glow night ...

Was in the Haven on Escape in February and the Getaway 2 weeks ago...looks like the Haven dinner menu has just been changed slightly

.... They removed the 1.5 lb cold water lobster and replaced it with a lobster tail

Yes only lobster tail... We will suffer through....

DCL Platinum ~ Ready for Norwegian Escape September 17-24 2016!

We will be in 18104 in September. I am nervous about the deck noise but I am hoping the location will make up for it.

I would book this exact same room again if that puts your mind at ease! In a heart beat! It was not anything that was disruptive to us at least!
