I would hope that if they are going to have 2 ships in LA they would put one of them on a regular 7-night schedule. As mentioned, Ensenada does not have much to offer. They need 7 nights to get in Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta.
As I recall some of the debt they took on with the shutdown requires them to suspend dividends until it is paid off. Taking on new long-term debt for new construction will help get them back to what was once normal.

Back in 1984 I was concerned about a new ship being too big, it had 1200 passengers...
We sail on all sizes these days. I biggest complaint about the Oasis class is the Windjammer. Poor design with that does not have good traffic flow.
