Just tried to look at Asia cruises and only 3 come up, one TransPacific, one Tahiti, nothing for any of the usual out of Hong Kong or Singapore or even Japan. Is Asia really closed?

Looking to get back toc ruising, have been avoiding booking anything to Bermuda, don't need any additional distractions. We have enjoyed our two visits, but this TA thing adds to the law of diminishing returns.

There are also the not very well attended AA meetings.

Only took 50 minutes today to get my refundable deposits refunded. Looking at four different April or May 2023 TA's, will confer with my friends next week to pick a replacement. I am favoring sailing into Rome and then 6 more days to disembark near Venice. My friends really wanted to sail into Barcelona, avoid the Baltic.

We had booked the TA out of Tampa on 5/6/23 and the 4/29/23 Western Caribbean 7 days. Both were cancelled last week and the 5/7/23 TA to Copenhagen was not offered. It appears the Serenade will take 8 days to get to Miami from Tampa. TA and TP bookings seem like a real crap shoot. We have booked 3 TA's and 2 TP's, all cancelled by RCI. Only TA we took was a Carnival substitute, not planning our second Carnival cruise. The fact that even the insides are about twice as much to Copenhagen as they were to Barcelona makes me wonder if I should bother booking another TA, once my deposits are returned in 30 to 90 days.

Prefer to do my own taxes also. Like to cut out the middle man whenever I can. Realize this is part of booking my cruises without a TA, have to put up with the terrible customer service and online idiocy.

So I called Crown and Anchor today to get my credit card onboard credits switched to another cruise. After 80 minutes of being on hold and waiting for the person to talk to his supervisor I was told that they had not been notified that the cruise was cancelled. I read them my email, but that was not good enough. The guy wanted to put me on hold while he found out where to forward me. Told him I would call back next week. What was I thinking? They may need a month. I had refundable deposits on both cancelled cruises, wonder how hard they will be tomorrow. Supposed to rain on and off all day here, good day to waste on the phone.

Got two Emails today, both the 7 day Western Caribbean and the 14 day TA to Barcelona are cancelled. Said Serenade will be sailing out of Copenhagen as of 5/7/23. Guess they expect politics to be settled by then. Was offered the Vision going from Ft Lauderdale to Baltimore as a substitute. I will be getting my deposits back.

Checking my future cruises, had put a deposit on the 4/29/23 7 day Western Caribbean cruise b2b with a 5/6/23 14 day TA to Barcelona. The 4/29/23 Cruise is now listed as Grand Bahama Isl Bahamas, underneath there were six Dry-Dock (Location varies) listed. So I checked the cruises available and the 4/22/23 and all other April and May cruises still available, 4/29/23 only one missing. Does it seem possible that there will be a 7 day dry dock right before the TA? Makes me wonder why RCI has not notified me about the change in the 4/29/23 Cruise. I am not very eager to schedule a 14 day TA out of Tampa right after a 7 day dry dock. Anyone else have any news about this Cruise? Don't feel up to waiting on hold to find out what I should have been told. Just another reminder to always use refundable deposits. There is no Roll Call.
