I’m going to wait till the Vista (O)reviews are out and if they are not stellar , will be canceling our two cruises with them and do land trips instead. At their prices I expect O to deliver on the food.

Thank you for taking the time to follow up on your cruise. I’m a bit anxious as recently many reviews have been less than stellar re: the food , which is one of the reasons we chose X this summer. Haven't cruised since 2019. The limited buffet in OVC, paying for room service or an extra lobster is not an issue but I do expect good calibre food as opposed to some of the other lines. This is a family cruise but our next two cruises in 2024 we’ve booked on O as it seems the time has come to change lines. Maybe will cross paths. I’m expecting the worst but hoping for the best.

Have travelled 7 times International out of YYZ since Nov 2021. Five times on AC,once on Ethiopian, and once on WJ all with no issues. Checked luggage all 7 times ( I cannot travel light). While AC imo ,is not a great airline they were efficient and we had no problems. I collect AP miles so we tend to first check their flights before BA or KLM. I prefer to fly direct as less likelihood of my luggage getting lost. Pre cruise, we generally allow at least 3 nights in the embarkation city except if it’s a US city then 1/2 nights has worked for us. I would still use AC to fly to Europe unless it’s Rouge then I’d look at another option. Rouge seats and service is fine for a max of 3-4 hrs flying time, even in their Biz cabin, which is worse than AC’s PE seats imo. Had the misfortune of flying Athens to YYZ and Lima to YYZ ( flights booked were mainline AC and switched up prior to departure ) and both times had an awful experience.

I’ve kept checking for our Equinox 2023 cruise and twice this week I’ve managed to get bookings at Murano and Tuscan Grill for my sons and their wives for 6pm and 630pm. Booked one after midnight and one at 6am. Unable to book a table for more than 2 people though. Keep trying. Maybe they release times intermittently.

That’s great to hear. It’s been 2018 since our last cruise so I expect some changes. Every industry has been affected but some reviews have been rather dismal. Im on holiday and won’t have to cook so how bad could it be! That’s my approach ,but I’d still like to try Murano and my boys Tuscan Grill . Will try first thing on boarding. If not we will still have a great time.

No spots for any Speciality Dining on our July 2023 cruise either so I’m hopeful we can get into at least one,especially since comments about food on Celebrity have not been that complimentary.
