  1. Other than masks optional, the protocols haven't changed. You still need the covid test 2 days before the cruise.
  2. After 3 cruises on MSC, the YC is the way to go, or don't go. I wonder whose Oasis Class the OP is thinking of. Definitely not Royal's, though I don't know of any other. How roughly can you get?
  3. I have an Alaska cruise booked on the Bliss for May, 2024, and my cruise actually went down by $400.00. Called and got it reprices.
  4. You no longer have to test to get back home.
  5. There are no parades to worry about on Quantum ships. It's just a shopping mall.
  6. We're booked on the Divina next May and already checked in. No docs yet or health questioneer, but that comes after final payment with the rest of the paper work.
  7. The cruise lines don't have the clout with the CDC that the airlines do because they're foreign registry. They haven't even tried to get the testing lifted.
  8. Havensight. Was there 2 weeks ago.
  9. The main problem on your thinking is that not every test has a QR code.I don't know what you are looking for. I don't care what kind of verification is used, that test was only for that minute. Two days later, you can be positive and not even know it.
  10. When Royal has a sale, it's just playing with numbers. You still pay the full price.
  11. There are lots of tours on You Tube of the ship with reviews.
  12. I've been on 3 ships with Wonderland, and have never heard of a happy hour.
  13. There is also a testing facility at the Rodeway inn on hwy 84. No appointment needed. It's a trailer in the parking lot up front.
  14. We just got off the Seashore and while it had a large TV and the room was larger, we booked the YC again on the Divina while on board. To us, the room size didn't make a difference. The reason we do the YC is the service and that doesn't change much from ship to ship. The only down side, if you call it that, is the restaurant on the Divina is aft. Makes for a nice walk. If TV programming and cabin size is that important, for double the price you can go into the Haven on NCL.
  15. Thank you. All perks stayed the same, and I got a new invoice immediately. I will, of course, keep checking.
  16. I did a mock booking for my Alaska, 2024 cruise, and the price dropped almost $400.00. I called NCL and got a lovely lady who gladly adjusted the price for me, added pre paid grats (which I authorized), and changed my flight to the day before with a $25.00 discount. I couldn't be happier. That's true customer service.
  17. It was announced to the passengers yesterday, due to the storm, not covid.
  18. The only ship they may have is the Caribbean Princess. All the others are AWOL until November.
  19. We were on 16 back in 2018, and are booked on 15 for next year. Doesn't really matter.
  20. I have no problem with the masks. Better safe than sorry.
  21. We've been on 3 MSC cruises, and always had something to eat in the dining room. The foo is quite good, even in the buffet, and their pizza is excellent. We've been on the Divina and Seashore, and have booked another Divina cruise for next year. I found the food at least equal to RCCL and NCL, and maybe a tick below Celebrity.
  22. No such thing here as a stupid question. Unfortunately, sometimes you get stupid answers.
  23. The Symphony is ataying away till Sunday, as posted by a passenger on her now.
