  1. You will not see the CC OBC until you are on the ship. It will show up on the second day of your cruise.
  2. The only plugs in the room on the Celebration are on the opposite side of the room under the mirror. There are no plugs on the side of the bed or couch. Next to the bed are only USB ports. There were MANY scooters on our cruise last week and none were parked in the hallway at least on our floor or any floors we walked through. We were in a regular balcony and I don't see how a scooter would fit in any part of the cabin. Celebration is an awesome ship. Enjoy!
  3. I find this hard to believe. How do they know what "you CAN spend"??
  4. My luggage tags between the name and date has Carnival Celebration-spelled out.
  5. I do not play slots (unless I get bored at the tables) So any offers I get is based on my table play. I'm not a big better but I do spend a lot of time in the casino. My husband gets more fun play than I do but we both get the DOU everywhere. Right now I have about 5+ different offers with the DOU everywhere.
  6. WE are degenerate gamblers and we get the DOU everywhere for all our offers, no matter the cabin type. I couldn't tell you the secret sauce. I just think it's random.
  7. Why bother John Heald for this request when you can go to the dining room on embarkation day and request it yourself. We have never had a problem getting a table for 2. Sometimes you may have to wait for the second day for the matre d to accommodate you.
  8. If it's your offer, you will be the only one in the Ultra drawings, unless he has the same offer.
  9. You have to be out of your cabin by 8:30 AM at the latest.
  10. You can ask, i may not tell 😆 but on a serious note, my husband usually gives the servers a $5 chip. (for the 2 of us) He always has a server that comes to him for the rest of the cruise. Rarely do we have to wait for a drink.
  11. If you tip well you will get servers to come back to you all the time. We were on the Celebration for NYE cruise and never had a problem getting a drink, although we were playing at the tables.
  12. No bottles of anything. Except one bottle of wine per adult in your carry on
  13. We were also there on the NYE cruise. Although the food was good, the service was awful and a loooong wait to get a table.
  14. I had booked a casino offer and never sent the final payment (it was due while I was on a cruise!) so my booking was cancelled. I called Carnival, they transferred me to the casino dept. to get my booking reinstated. Prior to that, my husband had a better offer and they switched it to his offer without any penalty.
  15. Hopefully you wont get too many since it's a longer cruise. We did a 3 day out of Miami many years ago on Labor day weekend when we were kinda new cruisers. Never, ever again! Some guy wanted to beat up my husband (who at the time was 50ish) and this guy was the father of a young girl who wouldn't stop talking during a comedy show. I had asked her very nicely if she could stop talking as it was very distracting. Well, of course she continued to talk even louder and that's when my husband asked her to stop. The father didn't like that so he got in my husband's face (this guy was huge and drunk) and told my husband to "ask nicely" and I interjected and said I already did and apparently your daughter didn't care and still remained rude. It started a whole commotion that the guy had to be removed from the club. The rest of the cruise I was nervous about running into them again but never did. After that we never took a cruise shorter than 6 days! Have a great cruise!!
  16. I think in August it will be warm enough when it is covered. We were on the Miracle in May to Alaska from San Fran and it was VERY cold. I don't remember seeing the covered pool used that much. However, I could be wrong. Alaska was awesome. (even though it was cold for me, Florida blood) Enjoy!
  17. You will not see that anywhere on your booking. You can send a message on oceanplayersclub.com and request the information.
  18. I never wear a lanyard but many people do. You can purchase them on the ship or order on Amazon. I just keep mine in my purse or in my beach bag if we are at the pool. You will love the Celebration! Have a great cruise!
  19. We were on the Celebration for NYE and had the chat feature and half the time it did not work.
  20. They no longer leave the offers in your cabin. They show up in your offers on the website as others have shown as Cruise, Play, Repeat
  21. As a person in the banking industry-DO NOT use your debit card.
  22. My upgrade call came from 305 and it said Carnival corp. I grabbed it when I saw that!!
