Great idea!! We will definitely request this in March on our next sailing.

My husband and I finally tried the Ruben on our last sailing in September (also on the Joy) and agree, it was delicious. We also then got it at least three more times (we usually order a few items and share).

I say forget the wings and bring back the mozzarella sticks!!!

Fellow New Yorker (Long Island too!) and our letter to our Butler was received very well, but unfortunately, she did not really acknowledge our requests. Hoping for a better experience in March on the Epic.

The only time we did not get Vibe passes was when we sailed in a Haven suite this past February on the Joy. We regretted it by day three. You will love it.

We prefer to go to Vibe for sail away. In the past, we had to get a separate card to enter the Vibe which they gave you if you were one of the fortunate ones to secure a pass on embarkation day. However, this past September, our cabin card opened the Vibe door as they are no longer using the additional card. We went straight to the Vibe after our lunch at The Local.

I completely understand. I price check every morning with my first cup of coffee along with price checking airlines and hotels.

Not true. We booked one of our cruises in April 2022 for March 2023 and have now taken advantage of five price drops totalling almost $2800.

Also well worth my time today. Saved on three of our four cruises booked including a group one which we are covering the cost of four cabins so that came out to a nice sum.

Any update on the Epic?

It really depends on the itinerary. We booked June 2024 to Bermuda in February 2022 and that sailing had already been up for at least a few months. We are waiting for Alaska 2025 to open up. When NCL changed their website, they made it much easier to see all of the available cabins.

I was a participant in the prior Joy aft threads since we also were looking to upgrade ourselves to an Aft cabin for our February 2022 sailing. We decided not to take the chance and upgraded to another Haven cabin. However, as early risers, the first morning around 4:00 a.m. we took an early morning walk and checked out the aft situation and clearly felt and heard the vibration. This was in February and I have not read any recent updates. Hopefully, someone will have more recent information.

An over-the-door shoe rack that we use for just not shoes. Helps us keep the clutter on the counters down to a minimum.

This category is a Club Suite and not a regular Suite so there are no extra Latitudes points without a promotion.

Our Haven cabin for our March 18, 2023 Epic sailing has had five price drops since we booked this past April totalling $2,496.60. For this sailing, my gut is telling me the price will drop even further. If your sailing has a lot of cabins left in the category you want, I would wait. When the cabins available become sparse, I would book.

Thank you for this topic as we will be sailing on the Jewel for the first-time next August and have only sailed on the breakaway class ships. Thank you for your explanation. This is exactly what I thought with my research. Right now, we are booked in an inside cabin with the intention of upgrading ourselves a few months out from sailing to a balcony or a non-Haven Suite. For us, the best part of our stay in the Haven was the restaurant so in our minds, it would not be worth it for us to upgrade to a Haven Suite since all of the other amenities are basically the same as in a non-Haven Suite. Am I correct?

I have also been following all of the reviews so far, and I feel the same way.
