I am glad you didn't mind. For us it is a deal breaker and make a cruise completely unenjoyable.

I volunteer at a wildlife refuge. We take in injured and orphaned (and kidnapped) native wild animals. We treat their injuries, raise the babies and release them back into the wild. Right now the nursery and nicu are very full so I have been working in there most of the time.

Until they get big it doesn't hurt if they bite. They have a lot of teeth but not much pressure. Squirrels on the other hand hurt like the dickens.

I love poached eggs (really eggs any which way).

Well maybe not at breakfast and sandwiched in between the bread with little lettuce. LOL

Maybe for a heart attack or stroke. Otherwise, I travel with enough OTC meds to take care of most problems.

Especially with some bacon!

You can have all of mine. I like my tomatoes raw.

I want to eat with you. Although, you could have my grilled tomato. LOL

If it mattered the cruise line would still require a proctored test.

We actually like ISP better than Skagway. Both times we took private whale watching tours and had a really good time.

We can wait. We have beaches and casinos we can go to. A lot of places we can drive to with good restaurants and entertainment. We liked to cruise and would like to again but don't want to take a chance on making all the arrangements, spending the money and then having an awful time.

That is exactly why we will not book a cruise until we can be sure that this would not happen.

Samantha was checking lunch out earlier. I don't have the heart to throw this box out yet.

This is the 5th snake this fall. I think it will get cool early. The cats brought 2 inside (thankfully we saw them), one was heading for my husband's shop and another one was on its way to the house. The downside of having a cat door and cat lounging area on the back porch is that they have access to snakes, lizards, frogs and toads who wander into their pen.

That would be worse then the snakes. Yikes I don't like big spiders or little ones either.

Exactly how I feel. LOL

My morning so far: First of all the hubs is out of town helping friends get tractors ready for auction so I am holding down the fort. I have to get blood tests for my Dr. appt. next week. FASTING blood tests. I jump out of bed with help from Annabel who will not stop playing foot monster starting at 5. I let dogs out, feed everyone and hop in the car. Drive 20 min. to the lab at the local hospital. I am hungry and I want my coffee with creamer. Walk in and the lady behind the desk who is not wearing a mask, shoves one at me saying it is mandatory. I realize she is older and it is her job so I artfully arrange it with lots of space around my nose and continue on. The very nice man who is drawing the blood, half-way through says damn the needle came out. Give him my other arm and we finish. He was very sorry and I assured him that it was all ok. Big bruise coming soon. Get home and raise the garage door while talking to the hubs on the phone. Notice the snake hanging down from the door. Hubs says close the door again so it can't fall in the garage. Notice once closed there is no sign of said snake. Open door again, find snake curled up in part of the door. Go get garden fork where the hubs says it is located and start poking (gently) at snake. Finally the snake got mad enough to drop at my feet where I could gently grab it with the garden fork and escort it to the nursery next door. I asked my husband if he heard me scream when it dropped at my feet and he assured me he did. Now all is well, I am eating my breakfast, drinking my coffee and the garage door is closed and I don't need to go anywhere else today. All before 8:30 a.m.

We have had a lot of fun in Black Hills of South Dakota and in Gatlinburg. This fall we have a lot of trips planned.
