  1. Excel is designed to work with numbers as numbers with a given field length. It will do strange things if you abuse it. It does not handle numbers well as text. The best way to store the information from the gift cards is in a text file created with a purely text editor that does not support formatting. Windows Notepad, MacOS Textedit both support pure text modes. You can also get pure text editors such as gvim or bbedit for free. Your statement "Then everything works as Excel should, not as Mr. Gates and his minions implemented it!" is totally incorrect as Excel is working as expected as it is designed to work with numbers.
  2. You probably copied formatting information with it and that caused problems. If you want to copy and paste you need to perform an intermediate step of pasting into a text only editor that does not preserve formatting. Then copy that text and paste into the payment field.
  3. The original Vacation Planner assigned to me pre-covid19 never did anything for me. A new planner was assigned to me in the past year and he has been a breath of fresh air. Easy to work with and re-fared my cruise retaining OBC even though the published rate said for new fares only and no OBC.
  4. Ssshhhh I was afraid you were going to give away the secret of the beautiful beach at Stone Island. The beach the locals go to where they can avoid tourists.
  5. The Ruby Princess is a Crown class ship not a Grand class ship. Embarkation day one of the main dining rooms will be open for lunch. It is usually a really good lunch.
  6. It should not matter whether you have an eSIM or physical SIM. What matters is the service provider that you subscribe to.
  7. If you are emailing the information, a form slows down the process as it one more attachment that needs to be opened. 16. That is an old document you are looking at. See https://www.carnivalcorp.com/static-files/bc1b7f04-a3e8-4176-91ac-a529290fe45d for the latest information.
  17. Princess actually says to check with the government of the destination. Following third party advice is a good way to get deported. A work colleague did that and ended up being deported from the destination because the third party advice was wrong.
  18. When I re-fared my upcoming cruise the web site stated that the new fare rate was for new bookings only. It had no OBC unlike the fare I had. I called my Princess Cruise Vacation Planner and told the CVP that I saw a lower fare. The CVP lowered my fare and to my surprise kept the OBC from the former fare rate.
  19. If you are refaring then you keep the original insurance you booked but the price changes for it.
  20. The no cost insurance upgrade is for Ruby and above.
