  1. It can be done You just need to plan carefully & do laundry along the way or send it out 😉
  2. Pre covid Concierge could order lunch & dinner from the GDR menu during lunch/dinner service plus the room service menu as well as hot breakfast but I believe the hot breakfast is now for all cabins but whether it stays that way when back to full ships is yet to be determined I would book the extended B cat balcony over a Concierge if it was a Caribbean or warm weather cruise with time to enjoy the balcony space since you say you are on a port intensive cruise then not worth worrying about If you are the type of people that like to have dinner in your cabin after a long day ashore I would go for the PH ..more options for dining in JMO
  3. If they have the ingredients they will make what you want They have a recipe book behind the bar 😉 Mojitos on Martinis menu https://www.thepreismans.com/riviera_21_menus.htm#martinis
  4. Check the FAQ https://oceaniacruises.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005477713-When-can-I-make-reservations-in-the-specialty-restaurant- https://oceaniacruises.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005477653-How-many-dining-reservations-am-I-allowed-in-each-specialty-restaurant-
  5. Even though Regent is part of the NCLH family they are different from Oceania You are not missing anything The restaurant reservation system on O depends on several things but everyone get a chance to pre book their allotted number of reservations For me I would use the $3500 for BIZ class air but that is me LOL Enjoy
  6. I believe they do not open until later in the day AS noted above it depends on your fellow shipmates if you can get a machine The larger ships have more laundry rooms If you can wait a day it should not be a problem but timing is everything 😉
  7. if you are using an ATM in a Foreign country it is too late to worry about the exchange rates 😄
  8. Try the larger O class ships or book PH + on the R ships We do not have a problem with the W/C on the R class ships but many people do
  9. no sorry just in Europe & the USA ..States south of Canada Maybe check the Alaska forum some people that live there may know of one that works there
  10. Depends on what is important to you There is not right or wrong choice just what works best for your wants/needs
  11. One Captains party per cruise segment is normal Repeaters party sometimes have more depending on the number of repeat pax
  12. It is a personal choice We do not spend much time in the cabin so for us we book a B or C cat sometimes we move to an A Pick the cabin that works best for your needs Some need/like the extra space of a PH to be happy & the Butler to make their time in the cabin special by serving them meals Maybe you do not need/want those perks
  13. The best place to ask about sharing is on the ROLL CALL for your cruise https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/2534-vista-roll-calls/ Look for the sailing date
  14. Maybe they are not encountering "an ordeal" or maybe they are prepared for changes when travelling in the still covid related World
  15. I usually get cash before I go I use https://continentalcurrency.ca/ Usually they have locations in the malls You can use your CC in the Countries you are visiting but I would get a card with no FTF like "Home Trust Visa " I would not take cash advances on any CC but that is just me
  16. I see my spouse most of the day so I enjoy talking to others sometimes LOL
  17. We have been in the C1's & no issues we have spent 30 + days there close to exits/dining room etc I would avoid the ones under the lounge 4049 should be fine The GDR is further aft & no cabins below it JMO
  18. We have a TD USD account as well as their USD VISA card we were in the U.S land trip we could not use the debit card to get cash I used the VISA card then just went online & paid the CC We had USD with us so we were not stuck but wanted to see if the debit card would work like our CAD cards Now this was a few years ago but I think it is still the same I would ask at the bank to confirm JMO
  19. I disliked the set dining we always seemed to get stuck at tables with boorish people We do prefer sharing tables most nights some night we just like a 2 top I myself prefer the open dining but many like the set dining & the familiarity of the same dinner mates No right or wrong choice just personal preferences YMMV
  20. The needlepoint is like a group show up in Horizons at the time noted in the Currents (daily newsletter) They supply you with a kit to work on ..no charge When you participate in certain activities on Oceania they give out point cards for the winners & losers You save them up & on the last day you can redeem them for merchandise hats, bags , key rings etc..
  21. Just a note that bottles of wine are not included in the beverage packages it is wine by the glass If you want a different wine with each course just mention that to the waiter so they will not be bringing the same wine all night
  22. AFAIK yes to 5-6Pm late night is usually 10:30 check the back of the Currents when onboard
  23. Just like the weather the seas are unpredictable We have had rough seas & fairly calm seas in the North Atlantic, Irish sea & the North sea We have also had bad seas in the Caribbean sailing from Caymans to Columbia Take meds with you if you are prone to "the motion of the ocean" problems
  24. I would not wait to try the specialties till the last night If you can book a night earlier in the cruise I would do that then see if you can get other reservations during the cruise JMO
