It may be TEA FORTE I know the brand was mentioned a few years back but not sure

maybe people did not realize how much water is in the pot some people also like weak tea I wish they would have smaller pots sometimes DH & I will share 1 pot if we choose the same tea bag

Pre covid they used to bring the tea chest for you to choose your teabag of choice then someone would bring the pot of hot water I put the bag in asap then let it steep to my liking Enjoy

do they allow a kettle on Oceania ?

I believe on the R ships the smoking room is enclosed with a door plus ventilation I never smelled smoke in the rest of the lounge You can sit on the starboard side of the lounge & will not have a problem

make the way you like That said we make tea in the pot same way as at home You can ask for 2 tea bags ..no problem FF Cream in your tea 🤔

Quiet sales are usually sent to TA's where they can pass on the saving/upgrades to their clients

Well if you are not happy with your TA why would you stay with them So your current TA gives you a good deal with discounts or cash back but you want more?

There can be 🤠 You may not have gotten any but Oceania is not perfect but still works for us

do TA's get commission from the airlines now??

Commissions vary by agency & the amount of business they do it can go from 10 to 18% sometime up to 20% for the agency not for the agent Some agents work on a 5 of the commission some work with a salary with commission some with just a salary Sorry I am one of those people that do not ask my TA to give up part of their $$ Would you take less money for your job?? especially in these times 2 depends on the agency & how demanding you are 3 if they have a website it is usually mentioned there JMO going for the bunker gear🤔

The ships get the same quality of food if the cooks are not good it does not matter what ship you are on We were on Riviera one yr the food was a problem in several venues Maybe we just had bad luck that cruise all others since have been good not served raw chicken since then 😲 I agree with the above comment ..maybe some bonus for the TA If you sailed an R ship you have an idea of the room sizes Go for the itinerary & the one that suits you best JMO

I think you missed my point but if you are using the OBC for things you would pay for anyway it works for you Enjoy the cruise

HUMM You are really paying for your own non refundable OBC You may want to read some of the posts on taking the OBC as an O life perk For some it may work out if you are going to spend a lot Onboard but do the math before choosing that option JMO

When you say the O Life credit are you talking about the OBC or the Air credit or something different altogether?? 🤔

But you already know Oceania does not do communication with pax well anyway It would be nice for many things if they would tell people when there is an issue like covid or noro onboard but they do not so why would they tell anyone that boarding will be delayed 🙄 One of the downsides to Oceania

This has been the way it has always been on Oceania This is why you should never assume anything ..always ask I would imagine the delay in embarkation was also due to them have to go through an inspectionas the first cruise back to the USA plus the covid cases onboard Too bad your 1st cruise with O was not as good as it could have been in better times JMO

I think it used to be both plus if you use O air it can be 1/2 of each cruise for the credit Not sure now as O will sometime roll the B2B into a GV

Most people complain about too much time in the shopping area LOL I try to skip any tours that have shopping listed Personal choice

Anything is possible Guess it is a personal choice whether to sail pre or post refit 😉

Doubt they will cancel The ship yard will be booked for specific dates they just cannot arrive early & expect them to start work JMO

usually they are out by the shops probably better in Martinis on the R ships
