  1. Sorry for that - Firewall issues - Hopefully you can access the link now?
  2. We love these cabins - The forward cabins have metal fronted balconies which may not suit everyone, but they are among the largest balcony cabins on QE - There's a picture of the Balcony on my 2016 QE Cruise - https://blog.rakkor.uk/2016/10/16/october-16th-katakolon/
  3. My blog from last September covers this cruise on QE in PG - https://blog.rakkor.uk if you're interested - I've been very slow in scanning the menus for this cruise, but there are examples of the PG menus in earlier blogs which reflect what you'll get accurately.
  4. We get the wine package to have with our meals, but wouldn't consider the drinks package as I couldn't drink enough to justify it - Here's an example of the wine package from 2021 Brochure Wine Package Cunard.pdf
  5. I never noticed - I don't see why it would as the balconies above are smaller and the cabin is set no further back than those above.
  6. I'm a fan of Deck 4 FWD and Aft as they have much bigger balconies. FWD have a metal front and aft have glass - Metal doesn't detract for me as I'm tall so can see over when seated YMMV. My blog posts from 2016 has a photo of one of the FWD balconies This is QV off the Greek coast
  7. I too was also going to comment on the change to Sarande from (Ephesus), but it did allow us to see Gjirokastër which was nice and add Albania to our visited countries list. I never saw any option to cancel on that cruise because of the port changes.
  8. I think they do, but they aren't very accessible though, there is a USB port and, although a faf to get a USB stick in there, it's then left in there for the cruise. Also bear in mind that not all codecs are supported, half of the films/TV shows, I'd brought last time, wouldn't play as the .mkv file format wasn't supported.
  9. Plus if like me you're over 5'6" then you'll struggle to get your hair wet - the showerhead is very low
  10. WFH Today - No trains into the City from Kent this morning
  11. I'm not sure there is one - The dishes/Pizzas seem to change daily
  12. It's loads of fun, but a lot more strenuous than you might think, I had to go back to the stateroom for a second shower after every lesson, when I did it the last time.
  13. Walk to the office this morning
  14. I didn't look at the TV most nights on our recent QE cruise, but they were definitely showing some of the shows live in the evening, I'm sure I saw the comedian on after dinner and maybe one of the shows.
  15. You can always decide before you sail - Commodore Club Menu Commodore _Club.pdf Jane's favourite is a Cosmopolitan or a QEII or a Ginger Cosmo or a Dark and Stormy or a Breakfast Martini or a Moscow Mule deluxe ........ you get the idea
  16. It was the same with us in PG in March, plus, that goodness for Cynthia who was the Grills concierge at the time, as the Pursers desk was particularly useless, with requests constantly going unfulfilled. I won't complain about room service as I assume they were run off their feet but the Pursers desk would promise something which would never appear.
  17. Our last two QE cruises in the Grills departing Ocean Terminal had delayed boarding. Apparently the ship wasn't ready and boarding started at 13:00 for Grills passengers. Took about 10 mins to apss through security and into our cabin.
  18. On QE in Aug/Sept, the football was shown in the Garden Room, I remember the Liverpool game being on one evening when the Newfoundland Duo were playing in there - If it's on Sport24 then they will show it - I was mainly US open tennis though.
  19. Here's the bar price list from the Commodore Club on our QE cruise earlier this month Commodore _Club.pdf
  20. The only problem is everything gets a little tighter every day, I have been known to indulge in a second dessert or maybe cheese and biscuits if the fancy takes me.. No charge
  21. I can't remember the last time I received one
  22. M&S here in the UK sell a cheap TUX for £99, soon to be $99, with chest sizes up to 48" and waists of 44" - This is guaranteed to be cheaper than renting on board https://www.marksandspencer.com/big-and-tall-suit-with-buttonsafe/p/ds1bb652c862d670bd554394d19a1ee9d7 M&S orders can be collected from designated stores which could be useful - At this price when no longer required it's easily donated to a charity shop for re-use.
  23. I have a better scan of it Room_Service.pdf
  24. Nope - There are treadmills in the Gym, although if, like me you are tall, the way they are positioned means you are liable to be pitched into the ceiling if the seas are anything less than smooth and it can be disconcerting to have the floor disappear from under you mid stride if the ship is pitching. You can run around the promenade deck, but are restricted to after 8am and it's narrow which puts you in conflict with people who are promenading, and there are plenty, moving very slowly as expeced given the demographic.
  25. That's the old menu - The current QE menu is...
