  1. I don't usually use mine either but DW usually does... She'll go and get a Latte to have with breakfast before we leave the ship.
  2. I believe that one voucher gets you 40% off a bottle under $100 and 20% off a bottle over $100. I'm not 100% sure though. I'm sure some else will chime in and confirm.
  3. The last few cruises I've been on they have been available each day. I do remember some posts back a while ago indicating that it was inconsistent but haven't read that at all in quite a while. Have you seen any recent reports where someone was denied on debarkation day? I'm hoping this has been standardized across the fleet. 🙂
  4. I have never missed a Costa Maya port and have never heard any indication it is a super hard port to dock. I have had excursions canceled due to weather but never missed the port. I'm not doubting that that is what was said to you but whoever said it was spouting complete nonsense.
  5. That doesn't work if you are booked through a TA only if you book direct. My TA sends invoices almost immediately. I find it odd that the OP's TA is sending a screen shot of cruising power. I find your TA's "don't you see $0 balance due" to be a really weird statement and sending you a screen shot of their screen even weirder. Nowhere in your account are you able to see the amount owing when your booking is through a TA. Your TA should know this. As an example from my own experience... I booked a cruise with my TA yesterday. At 3:14 pm yesterday I emailed him and told him to book us Anthem of the Seas for August 2025. At 3:21 pm he replied he had booked but needed to call in to get my C&A discount applied. He sent an email attached PDF with Royals invoice that showed the price prior to my balcony discount being applied. . At 6:15 pm he emailed again with my deposited invoice showing the deposit paid and the price he had quoted outstanding minus the deposit paid. I don't know what your TA isn't doing exactly that is supposed to generate an invoice but it seems near automatic from my experience.
  6. So some guy on Facebook says he talked to the “company” and was told they are redirecting the ship. LOL my cousin girlfriends taxidermist stayed at a holiday inn express once and said there will be no cancellations at Labadee
  7. Sorry this is happening... Missing out is such a disappointment. Hopefully things work out.
  8. I am more cautious in downtown LA than I am on Labadee. I won't even drive through Chicago. Portland is a seething cesspool. I could go on and on... This fear mongering over Labadee is nonsense.
  9. No one to contact if you are inside the strictest cancelation period. Just show up and tell them she isn't coming. Cruise planner purchases, taxes and fees will be refunded automatically.
  10. Sucks you have a crappy TA... Mine would have had mine to me within minutes of payment being processed.
  11. I have been successful canceling excursions onboard up to 48 hours in advance. I once tried to cancel within 24 hours but was denied.
  12. Contact, travel agent and ask them to send you a copy of Royals invoice. Problem solved.
  13. I was pretty disappointed as well. I'll probably book one but only because it's convenient.
  14. I've been on Liberty twice. Once in Oct 2018 and a second time in Dec 2021. The Liberty 2018 sailing was the cruise that addicted me to Royal Caribbean Cruise line and to cruising in general. I have another Liberty coming up in September, 9 night Canada/NE cruise. While being an older ship she is still a great ship and I'm already counting down the days until we sail. She is bigger than Explorer but just a little. You only really notice it Promenade. It has one my favorite ice shows.
  15. Yes, you can switch up one of the passenger up to 72 hours before sailing.
  16. Yes, it'll be on your seapass card. I've never tried but I imagine you could change subject availability.
  17. I was on Adventure last week. The coffee machine in the CL was working most of the time. Occasionally the milk steamer would malfunction but the concierge became an expert at fixing every time it happened.
  18. Quick question for @bobmacliberty While searching old threads I saw you asking about cabin 13190 on Quantum. I'm considering that one. I was just wondering if you sailed in that cabin and what you thought of the obstruction?
  19. This is essentially what we had on Adventure last week. We had 6:45 MTD pre-booked everyday. The headwaiter set us up at the same table and we could walk strait into the MDR without waiting in the "reservations line" at the entrance. It was perfect for us. 5:00 is too early and 8:00 is too late.
  20. I love it... I think it is the best slide on any Royal ship. I don't think it is particularly scary but I'm pretty adventurous so I'm not sure about you. If you've ok zip lining this should be fine too.
  21. Welcome to Cruise Critic, thank you for digging up this valuable, over one year old, thread. Royal Caribbean will certainly be sorry to see you go 🙂
  22. Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed with these LA itineraries on Quantum... Cabo and Ensenada. I don't even get off the ship anymore in Ensenada. I was hoping for a some California coastal cruises or a Hawaii or just anything but what they offered. I feel like the kid who just opened all his presents on Christmas morning and all he got was clothes! 😞
  23. Yes it is, it is our first JS. We are usually OVB people but got this on a low Royal Up bid... We've had a couple of OV Panoramic suites before and CLS. This is a nice room. It doesn't come with all the suite perks but is still a nice little upgrade all things considered.
