  1. 30% off but you have to book onboard. I can use my free 24 hr with diamond then day 2 buy onboard for 30% off. Usually cheaper than buying 7 days on cruise planner, unless you can get a great price on your cruise planner.
  2. YES, enjoy all the perks. We have been prime for several years and love the "free" cruises, free drinks and the internet discount.
  3. I think I am going to hold out for my 2nd booster until the new one gets released this fall. I hope you both avoid any side effects๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  4. Birdtravels was referring to a cruise a couple weeks ago. Royal does not require children of any age to wear a mask. And only children 12 or older are required to be vaccinated.
  5. We stock up on water bottles from casino bar, free for prime members. I take one to sun deck when hanging out and we throw into our backpacks for port days. Eric being immuno suppressed is not allowed to use refillable water bottles, especially on a cruise where they cannot be properly sanitized. So he always drinks out of water bottles even at home.
  6. CC does not allow us to name travel agents/cruise planners. If you want to book just call Royal direct or use a good TA.
  7. Sail Sunday test no earlier than Friday (any time of day is fine)
  8. Royal does Not require unvaccinated children to wear a mask. Recommends but not required. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/will-i-have-to-wear-a-face-mask-onboard-my-cruise
  9. I meant if you book 2 adults and 2 children in same cabin then have 2nd adult be a no show. A couple cabins for 4 people keep popping up but disappear quick. Maybe Eric and I adopt one of the children and put on our booking for suite then they could sleep in their moms cabin. ๐Ÿ˜
  10. Yes, free except for port fees and taxes. The offer is for 2 adults, both free cabin fare. Yes, you do earn C&A points just like any other cruise. You can ask to upgrade and pay the difference based on casino rates ( not the same as royals website). We usually get great prices on upgrades but it depends on how booked up the sailing is.
  11. Yes cabin 11606 that was available a couple minutes ago has now disappeared too. Marietta maybe call royal and ask to be placed on a waiting list. Or Eric and I have a suite booked for this sailing ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  12. No, I don't have any children that young anymore. Just saying from other threads that say they couldn't book a child in cabin by themselves. Never hurts to try.
  13. As I much as I would love to sail for Thanksgiving day we have always avoided because ships are almost always at max capacity. Expect the same this year.
  14. The English muffins in WJ are the same as MDR. Nothing like Thomas English muffins. I think they make more of the true English style muffin.
  15. Can you add a child to one of your existing cabins then book the mother and other child into whatever cabin category they want. Cabins for 2 are available. The child could then sleep with Mom. Or if you book for 2 adults and 2 children and have 2nd adult as a no show there is one OVB balcony available 11606 for 4 people. I was browsing royals site before I hit send. Sorry for duplicating as I see others have made same suggestions.
  16. You will love this cabin. We try to book corner aft's whenever they are available. Love love love๐Ÿคฉ Majority of the phone reps have no clue what they are selling. I had one insist the balcony was the same size as other OVB's. I suggested she view a video online showing the cabin and the balcony.
  17. I have to look up the insurance carrier's name but we purchase an annual travel insurance policy since we cruise several times a year along with other travel. Much cheaper than buying per trip. We have never had to use it but just gives us peace of mind and cost less than $300 for the year.
  18. Eric used to row in college meets on the Charles River. His crew won Head of Charles 2 years in a row. We haven't been there since the early 90's. Hope to get back some day soon. I keep looking at cruises out of Boston.
  19. I wandered by during breakfast and saw some breakfast sandwiches, scrambled eggs, bagels, danish, donuts and fruit. We usually prefer WJ for their fresh made to order omelets, eggs benedict, or I like to get some of the indian dishes. We also like JR's. Maybe once per cruise will we do breakfast in MDR.
