We have an abundant amount of cucumbers from our garden this year. I am looking for suggestions on what to make with them. I have given a lot away to neighbors and this weekend may set up a Help yourself - Free produce at end of driveway. If you find internet in your cabin to be crappy. Try going to a different area on the ship. I find the library/computer room on deck 6 of Quantum class (2nd floor of 270) usually has a strong signal. Some posters say that if you disconnect from internet and reconnect in another location that can help too.

This what I do for most cruises too. I find it easier to enter in passport info, etc. Plus I have my 'cheat sheet" that has everyone's info. written down to make it easier. Although I do go to the app and download our vax cards. I always print out set sail pass and bring paper copies of covid test, passports and original vax cards. So much easier than fumbling thru my phone looking for everyone's stuff to show an agent at check in.

To get a COR that will work with royal you need a positive PCR test to be done. Not a rapid test. If still testing positive go get a pcr test then present to your doctor to get the COR letter.

They won't know it's your first cruise back unless you tell them. Almost everything is back to precovid. Except waiters do not do the song and dance in MDR anymore. Kinda glad that stopped. Hope you enjoy 😀

Ask the MDR host if you could have an 815 or 830 dining for that evening. We have done it before and they will almost always accommodate you. If unable then you could go WJ, maybe Johnny Rockets, should be some decent options.

They may move your booking to another ship with price protection, offer you a FCC or refund. The days of Lift and shift to a sailing of your choice ended sometime last year and doubt that would be an option, if your sailing is cancelled.

We have been intrigued by river cruises and have looked at a couple different itineraries through different companies and decided maybe when we retire we will give it a try. I like that you get a lot more scenery while cruising rivers than oceans but I would probably miss the ocean. And you can dock at places that cruise ships could never dock. Are the cabins similar in size to say a balcony cabin on Royal?

I was just saying to Eric the other day I am thankful the boys are grown and out on their own as we would go broke feeding them at these prices. Teenage boys definitely can eat a lot of food and if your house happens to be the hang out place for after school, forget it the cabinets are bare by the time you get home from work.
