The concierge usually shows up at 8 or 9 am as others have said but I have gotten coffee at 7 am. Again, this could vary per ship but I am usually one of the first there to grab my coffee and go for a morning walk.

It was on Adventure on a sailing to Bermuda in May. sent to cafe promenade (I was mixed up earlier and said Starbucks but I think the cafe promenade does sell starbucks coffee like they do on Anthem) and told to show seapass and say DL concierge sent due to broken machine. It worked for many on that sailing because the coffee machine had been down for several days and they said they were waiting on a new one to arrive.

No, they do not retest. At least I have never heard of it being done.

45 days from sail date is the norm.

That's what I do as I keep our vax cards in safe with passports and don't bring out until the actual cards are needed.

Just show card that you were diamond and could get free latte, espresso, capuccino, etc any type of coffee the machine could make. Could not get free iced lattes or machiottos. Heard they were waiting on new machine for DL.

So true, room service coffee is horrible, IMO. I have always wondered why.

Good point. I am sure that has played a large part of car rental issues.

Probably varies by ship. Adventure kept having problems and were trying their best to keep it running while waiting for a new machine.

Did you know that you could use your seapass and get free coffee from Starbucks when machine on Adventure was broken?

They definitely do not use the small sink in the lounge to clean the various parts. I have been at DL early on Anthem and have seen them bring out various parts of the machine on a cart or by hand from the mini kitchen area (door to the right of the food/coffee area) where they cleaned overnight and re-assembled machine with fresh beans, milk etc. Believe me I have patiently waiting and watched them so I could make my coffee.

If you like funnel cake go to the snack shack, it's free. They have a good chicken sandwich and mozzarella sticks there, if interested. Lots of free places and things to do on the island.

Ask for their gravy (might be au jus) to be put on the side in a container. I have done this. I also ask for meat to be sliced thin and add horseradish onto both sides of the bun. Love it!

I'm with you. I love getting my latte or capuccino with extra espresso in DL to kick start my morning. I'm usually there when first open at 7 am😃
