Wow Carnival testing looks like a pain in the @$$. And they charge for the kids 5 or older tests, royal does them for free.

NCL is only dropping for certain cruises, not everywhere yet. Probably trying out like HAL is doing with 3 or 4 cruises out of Europe this month.

Wow you are bi***ing before you even board a Free Cruise given to you by the cork sniffing In-Laws. Do they know you call them that? If not, they may know now if they are on CC. What is done by paper? Have you downloaded the Royal caribbean app where you can upload your vaccine card, complete your check in, etc. etc? Yes, Unfortunately Quantum is having trouble with one of their engines and unfortunately has been changing itinerary. An email was probably sent to whoever booked the cruise. Why bothering testing if done 3 days out? grant it 2 days out is not much better. You do realize that every single cruise ship has covid? Not aware of any Outbreaks on any ship. How about you go on your free cruise then come back and tell us if you liked it?

They still exist but only for flights in Europe. No flights in or out of the US.

Maybe it is Men they don't pressure. My DH has gone several times and when he comes back he hands me the card with products they suggested and never complains of the pressure sales. My last girl wouldn't stop when I firmly told her No, she kept insisting she really wanted me to have some type of body oil. Maybe her Mgr was putting pressure on her for not having any sales.

I have not seen Mystery Dinner Theater offered on Oasis or Quantum Class. We have only seen it on Radiance Class - Serenade, Jewel, etc. We purchased on cruise planner under entertainment pre-covid. Each time it was held in Giovanni's - they would shut down Giovanni's for the 2 +/- hours. Food was always great, cheap wine but plenty of it flowing.

Hi Bonnie, Welcome Home. Even though it is only a matter of days before you move it is probably nice to be back home to your own surroundings. Although I would miss having help and prepared meals. I agree, I have been to the spa a couple of times this year and felt way more pressure than pre-covid. Plus their pricing is much higher. After my last experience I told hubby I have no plans of going back there again. I had even tried the trick of telling them in the beginning to please NOT pressure sales me on product and they will receive a nice tip. I have mentioned this on all my surveys (doesn't seem to matter as they keep doing it). Also, be careful if you book a low price on cruise planner. I had bought on cruise planner 2 separate treatments that were on sale if you booked on a port day at a certain time. Once I was onboard the spa mgr told me their reservation system had a glitch and tried to charge me the onboard full price instead of what I paid online on cruise planner.

I believe I watched the same show as I had the exact same feelings when I was done watching. Hearing the stories of what Diana went through is also very sad. There is definitely a lot of pressure and behind the scenes events that we do not see and would probably never understand. They need to put on that big smile and look perfect no matter how they really feel. I do not believe I would be happy living their lives. I will stay happy as a peasant going on my Royal cruises instead of a mega/super yacht😃

Wow! I maybe late but Not that late. My average lateness is 10 to 15 minutes and in no way is it every meant to be disrespectful and anyone that knows me knows that. I get upset with people that are too early. Eric's Father was someone that would show up 30 to 45 minutes early. That always annoyed me as he would sit on the sofa and keep asking what he could do (go back home and come when you are suppose to I felt like saying sometimes). But then he was probably thrilled to get out of the house and be with people other than Eric's Mom. 😇

Yes, Peacock App. I was surprised when I saw it was available. I like Capt. Sandy and yes, she has every right to micromanage. I would be extremely nervous being in charge of someone else's yacht that is worth $35 million. Yes, two girls do look a lot alike. Natalie and Natasha. One difference I noticed so far is one where glasses at least some of the time. Captain Lee is definitely my favorite😃

I don't think the fact they continue to offer free or discounted cabins to casino members has anything to do with the fact crew members are having troubles getting visa's or supply chain issues for various items. They would much rather sail with a full ship and have casino members generate additional cash flow, tips for workers, spend money in the restaurants, spa or shops, especially if they win and splurge on something they may not normally purchase. Happens all the time where I hear someone won big and then bought an expensive watch, jewelry, spa treatments, etc. I can confirm that Eric has bought a couple of Bulova and Movado watches that he may not have bought at home

On each cruise they announce these statistics at the top tier events.

It is a mix of sailings that are either near full and they offer casino members to fill up the remainder of the cabins or sailings that need a boost in bookings. i.e. an offer we had last week for Oasis 8.05 9 night caribbean sailing for an oceanview balcony. When I looked at the availability only cabins left are a couple central park or boardwalk balconies or connecting OVB. again same offer list included Adventure OTS for 9 nights NE/Canada sailings for Sept/Oct and not many cabins available and same offer list included Adventure OTS for 5 night sailings to Bermuda for Sept/October with several cabins available.

Sorry to hear you are having a poor experience. The last time I was there was in 2020 and we really enjoyed everything but it was less than $50 pp then. I refuse to pay the current prices of $175 +/- when there is so many nice places to relax/lounge/swim for free. Their lunch is usually nice but not worth the money, IMO. @island ladyI remember you saying your Sister splurged on a cabana. I wondered how you liked it. Not something I would buy myself but sure is a nice present😃

I am notorious for being late. Have been my whole life. When a little girl my Mom always had to go find me when it was time to leave and to do this day I am the same way. I start to get ready then think of things I need to do before I leave. People have always tried to lie to me about what time I have to be somewhere and that almost always backfires on them. But I am the first one that is ready and at the door when leaving for a cruise, beach vacation, etc.

Has anyone watched ep 1 of season 7 BD Med? I am watching now while doing some work from home today. Not so sure about this Bosun. Captain Sandy is really on her back and micro managing her. Nice to see Zee is back as a deckhand. Otherwise everyone else is a new face. The new yacht "Home" has some really nice features but doesn't seem to have enough storage space or the crew hasn't figured out where to store everything. Looks like some stabilizer issues with the boat at the end of the episode. Ouch!

Yes we have done 2 or 3 times. Always fun! Our last one was on Serenade. It was held in Giovannis. Highly recommend😃
