  1. Not on Oasis. I sailed on her last October and we weren't even afforded the option of making reservations before boarding.
  2. Had this problem when I got access to my own CC account. Contact the Loyalty Ambassadors and submit proof that she went on those cruises with you (key cards, pictures of her in front of the ship, etc.), they can retroactively give her credit.
  3. Never had an issue using the app for the past 3 cruises.
  4. As someone who lives on the East Coast as well, it depends on when you want to go. I've never done the Alaska cruise but I know people who have been to Alaska and temperature wise, it's not bad in the summer months. In the winter months, however, it can be brutal.
  5. I've done the tour many times. It's literally just transport to and from Kennedy Space Center. You're on your own the rest of the time.
  6. Everyone's opinion on here is going to be different since we all have different tastes. The best summer itinerary is based on where you want to visit. Think of it this way: if you were to go on your dream vacation, where would you go?
  7. I'm glad that you spoke with your doctor first, that was my main recommendation. I'd also check the CDC and WHO websites to see what the requirements are for each of the countries you plan to visit.
  8. We sailed out of Bayonne the last 3 cruises. The first time, they were really strict (partly due to short staffing), however the second and third times, we were able to waltz right onto the ship.
  9. We've taken my niece, who's about the same age as your kids with a BC. You don't need the ones with the footprints, the ones you have are fine. You may, however, need a notarized form signed by the Mom to take them on the ship. Your TA or Royal can provide you with this.
  10. You *should* be fine. I've debarked at Cape Liberty many times before and was usually off the ship by 9.
  11. Forecasts at the time said otherwise. We weren't in the eye of the hurricane, however.
  12. I've been cruising since I was 5 years old with Celebrity. Always had my own Captain's Club number, so when I was over 18, all I had to do was associate it with an email and I could manage my own account. The only thing I had to do was submit proof that I went on the same cruises my parents did. When I started cruising back in the 90's, records for the kids weren't really well-kept, especially with promotions like "Kids Sail Free", etc. When I associated my number with my email and noticed some cruises were missing, I had to submit the proof (old key cards, photos, etc.) so that they could see I was there and get me the credit I deserved. Now my parents and I still have different point amounts, but we're all still on the same tier (we weren't before I submitted proof)
  13. I've actually been to Cocoa Cay when there was a hurricane and I had the Zipline booked. They didn't cancel anything. I asked one of the lifeguards if the Zipline was still open and was told that because there was low winds, the Zipline was still open.
  14. I get most of those benefits through "Crown And Anchor" (about to be Diamond), so why would I pay extra for them?
  15. You don't know what led up to those containers both being filled with milk, so to call it a lie is misleading as well. Until you know for a fact what happened, it's fruitless to assume they were lying.
  16. Some of the attractions have weight limits for safety reasons. For example, if someone exceeds the weight limit of the zipline, the line could break, cause injuries (or worse!), and a whole bunch of lawsuits. That's why for these attractions they do weigh you.
  17. 1.) Yes, there's 7 free beaches 2.) Yes 3.) Yes, those are usually reserved for Cabana, Suite, and loyalty members. Everything else with the exception of the water park is free 4.) Yes, mostly free with a few exceptions. A map is provided with all the venues that are an extra charge
  18. We told my niece she's coming with us Liberty next year. She's beside herself with excitement! We're heading to Labadee, Bermuda, St. Martin, and Puerto Rico......none of which she's been to! She's already challenged me to a race on the waterslides!
  19. I'm not sure, I'm an Android gal who happened to hear of it on YouTube this morning.
  20. Hello all, I recently heard that you can get your boarding pass on Apple Wallet. Can you do this on GPay or Google Wallet?
  21. We travel with my niece all the time and never had an issue with pre-packaged foods, provided they weren't open. Same goes for drinks. Side note, as someone mentioned earlier, there's a form you'll need to have notarized prior to Embarkation Day, giving her permission to travel with you. They do check this, along with other documents, so please pack it in your carry-on and not your checked luggage. You can get the form on Celebrity's website or your TA (assuming you used one). You would only need this form of the parents aren't coming.
  22. I read multiple reports of this over the weekend, the initial one being that cruises were banned altogether and then a couple articles retracting the statement, saying that the cruise terminal is simply being moved.
