And we're on. Stopped at a vineyard after our tour of Santiago. We're unpacked, muster done, sparkling wine drank, laundry bag filled, and a light snack from room service. Now relaxing after a really busy land tour. Cocktails on our balcony for sailaway then dinner at Sterlings.

We spent a week skiing at Copper Mountain last month. Elevation at the bottom in 9000, top 1200. Did fine but I'm expecting some shortness of breath. As an FYI, Bolivia, not sure if it's LA Paz or Sucre is at 13000. My dad said it was tough.

We made it to Lima due to all the flights being delayed. Our luggage decided to spend the night in Atlanta. We met our tour guides and they seem great. One spoke with Delta and the man at Delta in charge of lost luggage says he we'll will personally find it and put it on our flight to Cusco. Every morning is a really early morning so it'll be nice to get to the ship and sleep in! Looking forward to starting this adventure tomorrow.

Live from Des Moines... must caused by the drunk woman we had to deplane... we were late already but.... sigh...most likely we'll miss our connection in Atlanta. We can get to Lima 24 hours late so we can still catch the flight to Machu Pichu.... but that does cause other issues.. we'll see. At least we'll make the ship.

Yes, the connecting room makes no difference in configuration. There is just a door in the hallway.

They were on my January cruise on the Regal. Except for the dining rooms and having to teach a lot of them how to use the slots, they weren't really noticible. As for dining, it was horrific. Only one dining room was open until 7:45 so even if you had a reservation, you were in line forever and the service was terrible. After 2 nights, we just decided to go to one of the dining rooms that was closed until 7:45...went at 8 pm. Walked right in and got great service.

That's what Princess told my TA. We booked this cruise over a year ago so my TA paid what it was going for at the time. I'm going to ask when we board. I'm more concerned about being able to get drinks that are priced up to $15 as there has been price increases. I only get a few glasses of wine that are more expensive than the package allows. Gotta have my Barolo when dining in Sabatini's.

Have the new prices kicked in? Is anyone on board who paid the lower price for the Plus package and are you getting drinks included up to $15? Just curious as to how things are going right now with the changes. We cruise in a couple weeks. My TA paid for the plus package for us. I asked about upgrading to the Premier Package and was told $1072 each to upgrade. Yikes, that's a big no. It's a 18 day cruise.

Going to Blue right before your cruise is not unusual. Congrats on the upgrade.

If we find that we need Sol's, we're going to use an ATM. As in other countries, we'll find one attached to a bank.

Not usually a problem. Just make friends with the bartender if it's an issue.

I'm doing a front facing next September for Alaska and I think for glacier viewing it will be wonderful. I did one for Hawaii and one for Mexico. Only 1 day on the way back from Hawaii was I unable to use it. It is windy but if you sit, the balcony rail blocks most of the wind.
