  1. Really quite easy to do. As I'm doing one right now myself I shot a picture - Just go to cruise and select PLAN Cruise Click Order History and find the item you want to cancel and click Cancel The amount will go back to your account quickly. If purchased it will go back to credit card up until about week before cruise and if cancelled from that point until 1 day before tour will be credited as refundable OBC.
  2. Nope... I just checked on the Celebrity App. They don't have much out of the norm - pressed juices and Smoothies with nothing more exotic than Flax Seed or Ginger.
  3. According to the Roll Call the cruise was cancelled and Reflection going into a two week dry dock prior to the TransAtlantic. Usually that short of a dry dock would be for maintenance, rebuild of pods, hull cleaning, soft goods update etc maybe even a paint job. Really wouldn't expect anything major like a Revolution.
  4. We are not PJ wearer so usually just leave them behind - On our last B2B we got a total of 6 pairs. Some that followed my blog said they would be interested so I left some goodie bags with PJ's, slippers, tote bags etc. Saying that I did bring one pair with us as we were visiting Iain's sister at the end of the cruise and thought they might be useful since the bathroom is down the hall. As others say - they run small. I would normally wear a Medium and the L/XL fit me perfect.
  5. The have a ships tour that is done by few. Since Covid they have not been doing Galley and Bridge tours. When they did it was gratis and invitation often based on CC status. I've also heard that sometimes you can get on the list by request. I've not cruises since April so they may have resumed.
  6. If you have a refundable deposit for any date you will get a full refund if cancelled prior to final payment. - Insurance would only come into place if you cancel after final payment dependent on type of insurance and reason.
  7. When you first open the bid it only shows the maximum bid of each category. Go to each offer and click the slider bar - It will then show you the Minimum and Maximum. This bid is PER PERSON. You move the slide to the amount you wish to bid on an upgrade. You then enter your name, address and credit card details then submit. If your bid is accepted you will normally be notified between 48 hour and about 15 days before cruise and your credit card will be charged immediately. You can then go to your reservation to see the room you are assigned. Normally the room you are assigned is the room you will get as all rooms in the class will be filled. Plan on the worst room and be happy if a better room. 48 hours prior to sailing all rejected offers will be advised that their bid was not accepted
  8. Best way is to look at the Celebrity App the same itinerary on a current sailing. You can either look at menus or on Activities at 5PM - For Current Cruise Evening Chic is day 2 and Day 5 which is consistent with the normal of First Sea Day and Last Sea Day.
  9. In recent time Celebrity has been sending out invitation to bid out much earlier than in the past. I don't recall anyone saying their bids had been accepted prior to Final Payment. I've bid on many in the 60-75 day range and was awarded upgrades between 48 hours to 10 day prior to sailing. I think they are using it as a way to balance passenger load and possibly to upgrade Inside and Ocean Views so they can drop the prices of these cabins without having to give price matches (reducing revenue).
  10. Really depends on how you plan on using. If just going to use it for a cruise I would recommend the 30 day plan about $14.00. If planning on using it all the time go with the promotional 1 year basic at $58 for first year (goes up to $99 year 2 on) I just cancel subscription at end of first year and then sign up for another 1 year. It is always on sale. For the 2 year plan ($78 per year for first 2 years).
  11. I use both Express VPN and Nord VPN. I use Nord most of the time because I have a 2 year plan but was using Express VPN quite a bit when Windows 11 first came out. Initially Nord wasn't compatible but have fixed that. Not that it matters much I find Express Connects much faster to connect but has fewer servers. Also often with Express, Google flags it as a VPN because so many people using the same server ip address and toss in a verification page. Just a nuisance and then I try a different server
  12. Simple answer is NO. You connect via the package you purchased and if anything the VPN may actually be slower. The VPN input is the same .75 mbps and output could be that or below but never higher.
  13. Yes. No problem your account and card will be marked Elite+ Just order and enjoy.
  14. Only if in a RS or PS or other Highest end Suites . The website now says they limit it to 2x per cruise but my experience is as long as your reasonable the don't enforce the limit. I was told they put the limit in because some were taking in laundry from all their friends and abusing the perk.
  15. I just checked mine. I did my checkin for Aug 8 cruise about a week ago and it is still showing pending. Not particularly worried as you can still pop us your Express Pass. Worst case they will take a picture of it again when you show it at checkin.
  16. It can be funny that way. On our Cruise we initially were on Miami then Shifted to UK and then later we were shifted back to Miami while on the second cruise to Portugal/Spain and France. I also found it VPN helpful in Argentina. I use Google News as my home page and due to a dispute Argentina blocks Google. With the VPN I could pretend I was in the U.S. and read the news. Not sure if this was ever resolved.
  17. You keep your existing Perks that came with your booking Tips, Drinks Package, Wifi etc. Some suites you may also get the Amenities that come with specific room categories.- e.g. RS Unlimited Specialty Dining.
  18. I know the thread is a bit old - BUT I hope all know that Covid testing is no longer required to come back to the U.S. This was effective June 12.
  19. For boarding on Celebrity you need your Positive PCR Test result from a proctored source plus your Certificate of Recovery. They do not accept an antigen. The U.S. accepted an antigen when I used it for return to the U.S. but testing coming into U.S. has of course been discontinued.
  20. Yes you can use VPN on the ship but make sure you install prior to the cruise. My experience over the last couple years has been that the block the word VPN from their dns. As for using VPN on the ship for geo location spoofing. Ease of use and success will be dependent on what device you will be using it on. If using it on a Tablet or Laptop pretty much works our of the box. Dependent on where your cruise is you may or may not need. All cruises that I've been on keep the MIA sattelite connection until about the Azores on a TA. If connected to a US Sattelite Internet Server you would not need for geo location. If using a device like Roku it is a little more difficult as you have to create a hotspot using a device (laptop or router) in-between the Ships Wifi and your device. For those asking why? Main use of a VPN is to provide an added layer of security to prevent hackers from getting password and account information when you broadcast over an open WiFi. Personally as a security tester (hacker) from the beginning of WiFi while on the ship I wouldn't think you would have many out hacking. The other use is Geo Location Shifting. If for example you are in the U.K. and want to access a site that limit access to only U.S. users you just select a VPN server in the U.S. from a list of server and most sites you connect to think you are in the U.S.
  21. A quick search often will answer your question quickly - Easiest to select This Topic and choose all words.
  22. The bag is per CC member. So if both you and your spouse are Elie you get 1 bag each. Prior to hitting Zenith we were never able to use all 4 bags. All you have to do is ask for another bag. Now we are Zenith and get Free Laundry they bring us a bag daily.
  23. Full requirements from Bermuda Government Site - https://www.gov.bm/cruise-travel-authorisation
  24. Thanks for taking the time to LIve Post. Really enjoying the post. RE: Laundry - If you are Elite (1 Bag PP) or Elite Plus (2 Bags PP) you will get one or two free bags per person. If not usually around mid cruise they will have a special at about 49.95 for a bag of up to 30 items (most report they never count and as long as you get it in the bag they will do it.
  25. Single Table Game Limit - 300 Times the wagered amount will have to fill out W2G. They don't mention how they would handle an accumulation of multiple wins under that limit. I'm sure some of the big gamblers can weigh in on it. You might check the RCL FAQ - https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/casino-onboard-regulations-policy
