  1. I don't know what I was expecting, but I thought a premium dessert would be something like a great piece of black forest cake or crepes or chocolate fondue. Something you would order at lunch or dinner. Not a sundae or milkshake.
  2. She didn't want a dessert- just a coffee. That was a major point of her post. If you just want a coffee, you have to wait in the same line as people who want these premium Desserts.
  3. Don't recall the price exactly. Our cruises are usually 14 days+ and we book the couples package. So more like 400 or 500.
  4. Well, depending on the issue, acupuncture is not a quick fix. I have back issues doing my stretches religiously and going to the Enclave or Thermal Suite usually keeps it in check. At home, if I feel it tightening, I'll go for a tune up. If it spasms, then it is getting acupuncture, and physio for multiple days, gradually tapering off.
  5. It's expensive as all get out. I go for acupuncture regularly at home. Wouldn't entertain going on the ship unless I had an issue needing attention.
  6. It's the same on the Enchanted.
  7. Correct! Transfers have nothing to do with EZ Air.
  8. That is correct. Some TA, or CVP may add it automatically, but you do need to book and pay for it separately, unless you have a hotel.package from Princess.
  9. Parmesan bowl has been gone for awhile.
  10. I'm not telling my husband there is no shrimp cocktail or sorbet. He'd order sorbet every night - didn't even bother looking to see what it was. I'll miss the Onion soup. Fettuccine and the ceaser salads were already gone. Now ceaser said with kale (yuck).
  11. I'm keeping the booze and finding a kid to give the ice cream to.
  12. Not likely in my experience. They claim the Enclave isn't part of the spa.
  13. Well that also includes transport from the airport to the hotel and the hotel to the port. The port is a fair distance from the center of Rome for one thing. Also includes breakfast. I know Princess hotel prices are usually higher, but make sure you are comparing equivalents.
  14. They have different age groups and are very strict about it.
  15. Yes - always per person for the Princess prices. Usually for one night it is not economical.
  16. I find it is usually cheaper to book on your own, but on one trip it was cheaper to use the Princess Hotel. That was for Copenhagen, but the cruise was moved to depart from London instead. Princess moved the hotel booki g at no additional charge (we'd already paid in full by mistake). We arrived 3 days ahead of the cruise. We were greeted at the airport by a gentleman holding a sign who took us to the hotel in a large comfy vehicle (don't know what it was). This was early morning and we were able to checkin to the hotel. Breakfast was included (delicious buffet or you could order off the menu - no charge). As others have said, luggage is picked up in the am by staff for the bus, we had breakfast and boarded the bus. We were the last people to board and they were looking for us. We were told to arrive between 1030 and 11 for the bus. We didn't want to have to stand around, so left about 10:50. I would be there earlier, rather than later. The room was lovely, the hotel was lovely, the breakfast was lovely; an all over first class experience - if the price works out or is comparable I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
  17. How did they determine the price difference for the First Class.ticket?
  18. I have successfully bid on an upgrade with an EZaire ticket after final payment, but I don't know about changing through the airline. Yes, would have to be after ticketing and I think they'd want the difference between what you paid and the current fare. Let us know if you try this and how it goes.
  19. One more thing ... these are right above the bridge, so you cannot have your balcony light on at night or your curtains open if you have bright lights in the room.
  20. We had the front Obstructed balconies M or L103,101, 102, 104 that area. They have extra large balconies - great for the little one. The balcony is not glass so you cannot see through it, but that didn't bother us. Can be windy if you are standing up and the ship is moving, but if you are sitting it is fine. It is at one end of the ahop, so can involve a lot of walking, but helps get thise steps in. We really liked that location and I think it would be great with the little one. BTW these are Deluxe Obstructed balconies.
  21. Doesn't work for me... live in Toronto, no Southwest. Guess I could drive to Buffalo, but really not a fan of Southwest.
  22. Cheap cruise fare but if you have to fly your airfare might wipe out your cheap cruise savings. A couple of times went I wanted a last minute price for something out of say Ft Lauderdale, I'd book my airfare early and hope I'll be able to snag a cheap cruise price last minute. And if I can't, I'm happy to spend 2 weeks in Ft. Lauderdale and ares.
  23. Only Deluxe balconies have the couch on the Regal. If you book a balcony for 3 or 4 it will be a balcony with one or two Pullman beds.
  24. I've never used EZaire for domestic flights - only see savings for International.
