  1. We did a tour of the hotel on our last last stop there back in 2019. Beautiful hotel! But somehow we missed the chocolate factory and the cigar factory so we are not going to miss them this time!
  2. It's just down a little bit from señor frogs and past the new Margaritaville resort. I think it's like a 10 to 15 minute walk.
  3. That's definitely a great idea, thanks. This time we're heading to the chocolate factory and cigar factory at the Graycliff Hotel. Then a little shopping on Bay St on our way to the Fish Fry (never been before) and finally, our usual stop, Senor Frogs for a drink and nachos and to watch all the crazy partiers.
  4. No, we're not really beach people. We're going to spend some time on the ship using the waterpark while it's hopefully empty and then go out on the island look around a little, have lunch and then maybe swim for about an hour.
  5. We are going to Nassau and Half Moon Cay. We've been to Nassau several times but still are finding new things to do there. Half Moon Cay will be a first for us.
  6. Thanks to both of you for all the great information. We've watched a lot of videos about the parking situation so I think we're good there.
  7. Thanks, NinjaCat123. I was hoping you'd answer because I've followed all your reviews. Thanks for the 2:30 info, that's why I want to drop bags and run to the food! My cat is Emmett. He's 18 1/2 years old but still acts like a kitten, running around and playing with toys.
  8. I am on the Sunshine out of Charleston next month and getting ready to do my online check-in and choose my arrival time. My plan is to get on the ship, go straight to muster, then drop my bags at 1:30PM so I can then go eat. Is the arrival time when I actually arrive at the port? I'm worried there will be a long line of cars to park. Or is it after I've parked and am at the check-in counter? Does 12:30 sound like a good arrival time to do all that and be on the ship at 1:15 or so? Does anyone know how busy the parking lot is around that time? I assume everyone tries to get there early. My only other two times on Carnival I had FTTF so I have no idea how this all works. Thanks!
  9. And I have a chronic wet cough from post nasal drip. It's especially bad after I eat. I hate eating out because I constantly cough in public. I don't want everyone thinking I have covid.
  10. So are we assuming the free salads and sandwiches are now gone? Or we might have to pay a little for them?
  11. Are the upsell teas included in the Cheers package?
  12. Thanks, with that information I was able to search for the itinerary and found it.
  13. My coworker left for a Carnival cruise this week but I didn't get to talk to her about it. I see on her Instagram page she is in San Juan today. Which ship leaves from San Juan or stops there? Can someone give me the itinerary? I'd like to follow along on her trip.
  14. What is the normal price for a Fishbowl? Does it come with a souvenir glass we can keep?
  15. I've seen this machine before but never played it. Now I kind of want to! How much is it per try?
  16. But John Heald said it was a "destination requirement". Apparently not.
  17. We are only red on Carnival so we won't be missing any loyalty benefits. Royal has similar itineraries and pricing so we might just try something new. Why have the hassle and cost of testing if we don't need to?
  18. Same here. My October Cruise to the Bahamas is already paid in full so I can't change that. But last night we were talking about doing another short cruise and started looking at Royal Caribbean. Are you listening, Carnival?
  19. Royal Caribbean just updated their protocols. No testing required for the Bahamas for vaccinated passengers. Carnival stands alone.
  20. It wouldn't be hard to verify. If you don't have a vaccination card, show a negative test. This is what I'm hoping is what happens. No reason we all need to be tested when you can fly in for a week and be around hundreds of locals and not have to be tested.
  21. So now I'm confused. If a test can detect a positive result for up to 90 days how am I going to get a negative test?
  22. So the Document of Recovery is just proof from a lab of a positive test? Or do I need to go the doctor and say "I'm all better now-write me a note"? From the above, it sounds like just a positive test. (no less than 10days out, no more than 90)
  23. Thanks. It wasn't there for me. I had to go to the drop down menu under Accounts. Only to find out I have no deals. None. No wonder I never noticed it!
  24. I logged onto my Wells Fargo account, but I don't see a place for offers. Where on the website do you find them?
