    Well, I can’t say that my TA has not had any issues - it was pretty rough there for awhile, but things seem to have settled down. I am not yet “alienated” either and very much looking forward to my upcoming cruise.

    If you’re talking about Captain Johannes, he is the best, IMO. Always very transparent about what is going on.

    Wish I had done that on Viking. Many of the wines and some of the spirits promised in the SS package were not available. I suspect it wouldn’t have done any good though.

    I think it’s a crazy leap in price. I wonder if there is also going to be an increase in the premium package.

    I already bought an experience more package, so have the premium package, but if the new prices are in effect next week, doubt if I will upgrade to ultimate.

    Well, if you have an upcoming cruise, you could do what I did and give it a try. If nothing else, at least I got the old price!

    I just bought the Chef’s Table plus 2 for my upcoming cruise on Quest online using Manage my Reservation” for $145. I had to call to process the payment, but the price didn’t change. And the agent answered on the first ring!

    It looks like the dry dock is just for mechanical purposes, so you won’t miss anything cosmetic.

    I have had a couple of experiences lately with the Wichita agents and they have been really good. Picked up on the first or second ring and solved the problem quickly and pleasantly.

    I don’t begrudge the world cruisers their experience at all and I have enjoyed @aliaschief’s postings. But like @uktog, I have noticed that the segments do seem priced higher, so I haven’t booked anything on Onward during this world cruise.

    Generally, OBC from the cruise line is not refundable.

    On a port intensive cruise, that’s what I would do too. My upcoming cruise has lots and lots of sea days though, so I purchased a package that included WiFi.

    That’s a huge increase! Personally, I don’t think the specialties are worth that.
