  1. Just checked pricing on a med cruise next year and found that price had gone down...saved over $400. Not a whole lot but it will almost cover the gratuities! 🙂 Unfortunately our SA cruise remains exactly the same price.

  3. Happy to report that I called back and spoke to a lovely young lady who was happy to make the change for me- no mention of a $200 fee. 🙂

  5. Paying them more money so I could pay them more money seemed crazy to me too. I will call back and hope for a different agent.
  6. I just called to upgrade a room and the agent told me I would have to pay $200 change fee...did you have to pay a change fee with your upgrade? Thanks!
  7. My platinum (Delta) card did not have it but my old Blue card did! It came up in the second group of 100 that loaded. Odd that the search function does not bring it up. Thank you for making us aware of this offer- I never would have seen it on my own.
  8. I am also the in house "travel agent" and find this frequently...there is a Dominican Republic resort that we visit who always send emails to ME for for Mr John!
  9. I thought I had done well to note the date I registered! I really wanted to ask why their program didn't operate like most things that you register for but I remembered my mother teaching me that you "catch more flies with honey than with vinegar!"
  10. I just made a rookie mistake with GoGreen....I signed up (even noted the date) but neglected to confirm with cabin steward onboard. Called CC about missing points and she wanted to know if I had a screen shot of the sign up screen. I did not (never even occurred to me), so now I wait to see if they will give me the 5 points. It was my mistake to not confirm on board and in the future I will take a screen shot.
  11. We ate in the Lawn Grill on our 5/24 Scandinavia sailing. They do have a plexiglass "enclosure" which keeps out some of the wind but we were grateful for the blankets and the heat lamps.
  12. Also on this sailing and we loved it...I would do this itinerary again (on this size ship) in a heartbeat!
  13. Obliged to report that I got mine too....only 72 points away from Al Bacio level!
  14. We just did this on a port heavy cruise where we weren't on board much and exhausted our Elite internet minutes about halfway through the cruise (maybe day 6 or 7), we were then able to buy a "half cruise" package using our discount. Worked well for us!
  15. Now I too will be checking all my zillion emails....they would be surprised how flexible we can be with the right incentives! 😂
  16. This is very helpful- I have been also been waiting (unnecessarily as it turns out)! I learn so much from other cruisers on these boards.
  17. We did it on the Reflection and loved it. The concept is charming, food was very good, the service was excellent and it was extremely quiet in the room...a welcome change from the noise of MDR.

  19. Really appreciate the very valuable information in these posts. We missed a trip to the Falls when we were in BA for a prior cruise and now want to return and include the Falls but the planning seemed a bit overwhelming. Thanks to the these posts I feel like and now I have some ideas that would make it a feasible for people who's age begins with a 7!

  21. This has been my experience as well but they will let you request anchovies on the Caesar salad so that makes me happy.
  22. So glad you got excellent care and are feeling better. On my very first Celebrity cruise I developed an antibiotic allergy and visited the medical facility onboard. I still remember how well (and how quickly!) they took care of me...I had to return for a follow up visit and they made it all so easy. I second Susie's advice to seek care at the medical facility if an issue arises.
