  1. Is everything OK, did you get onboard OK? I think you leave the ship in the morning.
  2. $450PP Iceland to Southampton wowzers they know how to charge 😲
  3. RyanAir were actually trying to do this 🤪 https://www.thetraveltart.com/ryan-air-10-potential-benefits-of-standing-up-on-their-planes/
  4. Lots of countries have set a maximum date from the last vaccine. It would depend on the places you will visit. The Europe Schengen countries for example are: https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/news/vaccine-certificate-validity-for-each-schengen-eu-member-state/
  5. When we sailed from Athens a few weeks ago (April 8th) we flew in a week early and took a test at a local clinic, all the pharmacies do it and they only charge 10 Euro. NCL were not even interested in seeing our test they just did their own so yes, in theory you could just turn up without a test but would I risk it for the sake of 10 Euro? No I wouldn't.
  6. It's been like that for years, In case of incident you meet inside not outside and you never get an assigned lifeboat.
  7. I bought some the other week and the seller had to do it by email. The site we agreed the deal on advises it needs to be done by email now. Make sure you use the email you have registered with NCL or they will reject the request, this happened to us and added a delay.
  8. What the hell does that have to do with a missing Cushion?
  9. The window has closed they will let everyone know their outcome shortly, no credit card charge is not hopeful as that normally goes out without delay.
  10. You are talking to the wrong people as you need to submit a special needs request, the direct line are like robots reading from scripts, and not doing that very well.
  11. Holy Cow! That being the case it's just a big con to screw more money, how many people would fall for that email? A lot I would suggest.
  12. Is this new? Bidding has always been a sealed bid and the highest bid (taking everything into account) at the end wins. Is this a new system, auction style, like eBay where you keep bidding up the price? I have a bid in on my July cruise and it's the old style sealed bid, I certainly wont participate if they move to a auction style bidding system.
  13. I found I could load the pages (very slow) but I could not reply or quote any topic as the dialogue box would not fully open. I discovered however, if I went online and refreshed the page, I could then go offline and the boxes would open and remain working for as long as I needed it.
  14. All the local pharmacies do an antigen test with certificate for 10 euro.
  15. Unless in the YC probably your only option is the Minibar in your room which I guess you could ask to have a higher stock level of your tipple, an expensive option though.
  16. Bottle of wine in cabin £22 (Pinot Grigio Bastianich or Chianti Peppoli Antinori)
  17. I missed a drink 😱 It was me that organised the meet and greet on our roll call.
  18. @shof515 is correct, you join a line for your excursion when called, once at the front of the line they will ask you how many in your party to ensure you are on the same bus. Each of your group will then be given a numbered sticker for your shirt with your bus number printed on it, very easy.
  19. I see you re in the UK, we used Qured: https://www.qured.com/shop/products An antigen test is £12 and you can add a video observation for £11 to satisfy NCL. Use HEATHROW10 to take 10% off making a proctored test £19.70 with free shipping. They also work with VeryFly if you are flying BA, American or any of the other airlines that use this.
  20. I was on that cruise there were 6 cases of Covid picked up by the extra testing, those poor soles spent their cruise isolating on deck 5.
  21. The pandemic is surly over now the unsanitary cruisers are back spreading their filth from surface to surface.
