  1. I had one of those on Coral in Sept, C333. Given the poor weather as you would know Julie, it was a good choice, albeit a little pricey, but I booked quite late.
  2. If Carnival had based Luminosa in Sydney they might have filled more cabins, bigger population base.
  3. Happening often now, all about cleaning of the ships from Covid bugs.
  4. You will have to go to NZ to get one mate.😁🥧
  5. As has been said if in doubt...'DECLARE'
  6. QM2 is unique, nothing like her. QV like QE is basically a Vista Class ship like Arcadia and several HAL ships, albeit with Cunard features. I loved QM2.
  7. In my view it is not fair to other pax that large groups take over certain public areas of the ship. But at the end of the day it is all business $$$$ for the giant Carnival Corporation.
  8. And no worries about the rain either, nice to sit out on a covered balcony in the rain. As for catching the sun you can always proceed up to the 'Melanoma Deck' if you are a sun worshipper like myself.
  9. BARRY, we did QM2, Sydney to HK in 2017. Loved the ship, it is unique, food, service and entertainment good. But all too formal for me I am afraid. Wearing tuxes, jackets and ties is long in my past. My late wife loved dressing up but I never did. I think being in Australian Waters you will see a few Aussies in their t shirts, shorts and thongs testing the dress codes and getting chucked out of the Crows Nest at the bewitching hour 6pm. As you know Cunard are also strict on dress codes into Britannia MDR. Enjoy QE.
  10. With NZ be prepared for anything weatherwise.☂️🌊💨🌧🌤☀️
  11. Too tight to buy a pie at the airport lol. I recollect in Southampton dozens of Brits making bacon and sausage sarneys in the buffet to eat on the bus on their journeys home to various parts of UK. They cleaned out the buffet. No quarantine dogs at Southampton just a couple of drug dogs.
  12. Great idea, I never liked the BB King shows on Noordam in 2019. Being a Stones fan from way back. 🎸
  13. Chili, how come the beetles seem to prefer the RCI ships? Are they after the delectable offerings in ye olde FOOD JAMMER? Sorry, Windjammer.🤣
  14. Bad news re my Coral shipmates in Sept getting ripped off. Coachhire.com gets terrible reviews. Anyway back to the OP, check out Viator, I have used them for many tours world wide, they generally use decent tour operators and have some wine tours from Adelaide.
  15. She is a great ship, been on her 3 times, Alaska, Panama Canal and domestic one in September.
  16. That is what I take away with me, hot water and you have a decent brew.
  17. This is what you want, lubbly jubbly steak with lubbly jubbly pepper corn sauce. Ask and ye shall receive on Princess.
  18. No doubt some shonks will test positive and not tell the cabin steward. They will then carry on in their merry way and pass it on to other pax. The honesty system is not good enough.
  19. Correct, no duty free on that run. Did it in Sept - Coral Princess, well most of it due to weather - high seas, all Australian territorial waters.
  20. I am sure they could knock up a jus or peppercorn sauce for you.
