  1. Why worry? Your handed a slim tray with glasses of whiskey. What could possibly go wrong? Relax and enjoy your cruise experience.
  2. Now that we've solved the Starlink issue, can we fix the Celebrity website and accounting dramas?
  3. I thought this was going to be about someone calling the cops. Glad that's not the case. 😁
  4. Sailing with Alejandro. Most energetic and awesome. On sea days he frequently gives a presentation on how he came to work on cruise ships. He will also explain why Argentinian soccer is superior to the folks from Brazil. Very entertaining and moving.
  5. Tonight I'm grilling salmon, with steamed shrimp and yellow rice. No surge protectors were used or harmed in the production of this meal.
  6. Your doing a hell of a fine job Ken. Keep up the fabulous posts on your awesome cruise.
  7. In the Florida Keys we've had some bales of weed wash up, but so far not a lot of the Sargasso variety. Meanwhile in Key West.........
  8. What's worse than Lobsters on your piano? Crabs on your organ!
  9. I agree. Dealing with the vax documents, pre cruise covid tests and dysfunctional airlines can ramp up the anxiety in anyone. After you pass these challenges and finally board your most excellent Celebrity ship, I recommend loose fitting cotton clothing and an immediate trip to the Sunset Bar. You've earned it. A well deserved, Bon Voyage.
  10. After a recent experience, I made a vow to never eat gas station sushi and drink tequila.
  11. We've been lucky enough to be on two Celebrity sailings that Most Rev. William F. Heagen, Bishop of Lakewood Spiritual Care Coordinator, Angelic Health of NJ was on. When he has time off from his hospice ministry he like to cruise. Great guy. If you see a guy in the smoking section with a red zucchetto (skull cap) that's probably Bill. Very engaging and fun to chat with.
  12. SpaceX has completed a Hat Trick of Launches this weekend. A fresh record & accomplishment. Three launches, three different pads on three consecutive days. I admire the the work of these young engineers as they rocket us into the future. And yes, I know their work is based on the science of the engineers that came before them. Still most awesome to watch live video of the first stage engine section land on a rocking and rolling autonomous barge named "Just read the instructions," in the Atlantic Ocean. Most impressive.
  13. Years ago they used to joke, when you died you had to pass through Atlanta on the way to heaven.
  14. Jim, If you hear anything more please let us know. Thanks for the tip on cruise deck plan site. Most excellent and useful.
  15. Royal Caribbean has filed with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for permission to bring Starlink to its ships, reported Matt Hochberg of the Royal Caribbean Blog. The cruise line's Group Vice President of Operational Excellence, John Maya, sent a letter to the federal agency to ask it to "expeditiously" approve a plan to use Starlink on Royal Caribbean ships. "Working with SpaceX Services, Inc., we believe we have identified a true next generation solution for our vessels that meets the rigorous technical and operational requirements commensurate with our growth plans," Maya wrote."We believe our work with SpaceX, the first of its kind in the cruise industry will set the standard for other cruise operators and will mean a leap in terms of guest experience and business operations while at sea." 16. I' pretty sure Chengkp75, refers to Chief Engineer Kings Point (class of) 75. Thank you Chief. I know corn is always the most hated thing aboard the tugs I worked on. I know the easiest way to ruin an engineers morning coffee is, "The heads plugged, again." Regards, Bill
  17. Is there a small area on the Millennium that's designated for smoking? I know on the Infinity there was a small area on the starboard aft side of the pool deck that was used. RCCL's Brilliance of the Seas had a similar area, starboard side aft portion of the pool area. Thanks.
