  1. I ordered March 8, shipped March 9, delivered March 11. Airlines shouldn't be an issue, and the liquid is WAY less than the 3 oz. allowed through TSA checkpoints in a single container.
  2. With a good zoom on your camera, or even just good eyesight, you can see Coney Island amusement park to the East after you pass under the bridge. To the West would be Bayonne, you can see the RCI port/terminal there along the bank of the Hudson, among the shipping terminals. At an adjacent pier is the USS Intrepid, a worthwhile stop for a tour if you have the time.
  3. If I didn't do you think I'd have cruised in March using one of them? Here's a screen cap of the item that was delivered, and none of the emails I got from the Optum store included an attachment of a prescription.
  4. I picked a random Freestyle Daily from my March cruise on that ship - 9:30 was noted as closing time, but that MAY be the last seating. That's not exactly a loud venue, especially late-night...
  5. I didn't get any such thing when I got mine in March...
  6. There were some from April posted in this thread -
  7. Well, that's what I get for assuming. They were Abbot Binax tests, I thought they were all the same...
  8. and, for what it's worth, my local Walgreens had a table FULL of the same tests you can order from eMed. I did not look at the price..
  9. Be conscious of the OP's location. Based on the info under their name they appear to be in the UK.
  10. Sometimes they won't know until that day. The tour company may employ JUST enough drivers to handle normal operations, but if a driver or two call out sick they then need to start cancelling tours.
  11. OBC is in 2 categories - refundable and non-refundable. This recent thread asked the same question -
  12. The NCL site has the info you seek... https://www.ncl.com/cruisefirst-program
  13. Read the T&C's of the promotion, it's actually been a CREDIT recently... https://www.ncl.com/termsandconditions/promotions
  14. There are also the "alliances" that result code-share flights. You could be booked through one airline but actually be flying on another airline's planes. Two of the biggest ones are SkyTeam and the Star Alliance.
  15. Swearing off an entire cruise line because of one ship that even the line admits (maybe not in these words) might have been a failure? That ship is its own 'class', it's the only one like it in the fleet...
  16. I saw it on the Bliss in 2019 and was HOOKED! I hope it returns to the Bliss but some reports are that an NCL original production had replaced it, at least for some time. The dailies for a recent Alaska cruise were posted in a thread that's probably dropped to page 3 or 4 of the forums, that might be an indication.
  17. I see this is your first post on CC. Allow me to introduce you to the roll call concept, and a bunch of new friends for your cruise -
  18. I did EXACTLY that on my first NCL cruise. We ended up arranging an embarkation lunch for the solos on the roll call, we had a great time!
  19. Except the topic indicated increased passenger count, it said nothing of gross tonnage. I'm not saying they won't come with higher gross tonnage, just saying the topic of the thread was passenger count, and I was commenting on that
  20. Not quite. They don't have to stop in the Canada port because they're in Canadian waters. The cruise lines can't perform cruises with exclusively US ports in them because the ships are not US-flagged (the exception being NCL's Pride of America and that ship's US flag status allows it sail ONLY Hawaii itineraries). As a result they MUST make at least one port stop outside the US. Closed-loop cruises don't require the "distant" portion of the foreign port rule so they can use Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas or Caribbean for the foreign ports. This is also why some stops in Victoria are evening stops for a couple hours - to satisfy the regulations. The salvage of the 2021 season was a result of the temporary suspension of the foreign port requirement of the PVSA specifically for cruise ships sailing Alaskan itineraries. This took, literally, an act of Congress to allow it to happen. Changing it permanently would require the same, and the lobbying groups for US-flagged passenger vessels (there are still some) will fight strongly to not allow that to happen.
  21. Not really. In order of release - BA Class Breakaway - 3963 Getaway - 3963 BA+ Class Escape - 4266 Joy - 3804 Bliss - 4004 Encore - 3998 VERY minimal difference, and in one case a LOWER passenger capacity on the -Plus class ship than on the originals. The BA+ was more about the venues and activities than it was passenger count.
  22. They informed the IT team, who updated the T&C's on the website. I imagine the documentation on board the ships was also updated, the documents you're given for reading to agree to the terms of the promotion (the ones nobody ever reads). They're not going to put a banner on the website to advertise that it's been changed, or run ads on TV.
  23. As noted - most or all tables are even sizes so there are no one-person tables. If you have an odd number of people and want to book those venues, just book for the next highest table size as you're getting that size table anyway. This is EXACTLY what I was told at Le Bistro in 2019 when I sailed with 2 others (so we had a party of 3), we booked a 4-top and the host told us we did just the right thing as we would have gotten a 4-top table anyway. Teppanyaki, due to the type of venue it is, should allow you to book for just one. This topic comes up a lot...
